    • PURPOSE:To improve the handling performance of a graphic input device by providing an input device which inputs the coordinates and the pushing pressure and outputs their information, a coordinate/pressure selector, a cursor moving device, and a drawing device, designating a graphic position based on the coordinate information to move the graphic, and magnifying and reducing the graphic based on the pressure information. CONSTITUTION:When a coordinate pointing tool 1 containing a pressure sensor is pushed, a tablet 4 containing a display device produces the coordinate information and the pressure information and outputs these information to an information input device 18. Then the device 18 converts the serial data into the parallel one, and a coordinate/selector 19 outputs the data under input to a cursor moving device 20 as long as the data shows the coordinate information and then to a drawing device 21 if the data shows the pressure information respectively. Both devices 20 and 21 evolve a cursor and a drawn graphic onto a display memory of a personal computer. A display signal generating device 22 converts the data on the display memory into a display signal, and the tablet 4 performs a display operation based on the display signal. As a result, the size of a graphic can be changed during its movement and the handling performance is improved.

    • PURPOSE:To facilitate the positioning of printing paper and to make it possible to easily confirm a printing position when an illustration is printed on a plurality of printing papers at the designated positions thereof, by providing a carriage position memory means and a carriage moving means for moving a carriage to an arbitrary position. CONSTITUTION:A carriage position memory means 6 stores a printing position, for example, the printing start position of an illustration as the position of a carriage. A printing finish detection means 7 detects the finish of printing and, for example, a printing control part 54 performs the command of the whole of a printing apparatus, and, therefore, the finish of printing can be detected as a matter of course and, by providing a printing control part 55 containing even the printing finish detection means 7, the finish of printing can be easily detected. A carriage moving means 8 allows the carriage to move to the carriage position stored in the carriage position memory means on the basis of the detection of the finish of printing by the printing finish detection means 7.

    • PURPOSE:To select an optional one of processing interruption states of the past and to enable a user to resturn to the selected state by providing a selection means which stores those processing interruption states and selects one of plural storage means that hold their storage contents despite of an OFF state of a power supply. CONSTITUTION:Plural storage means 2 are provided to store the processing interruption states and to hold the storage contents despite an OFF state of a power supply. Then a selection means 3 selects one of those processing interruption states stored in the storage means 2. Therefore a user can return to the precedent processing state of his/her own when plural users share a single information processor. Meanwhile the user can return to his/her desired processing state when a single user performs plural processing operations in parallel with each other with use of a single information processor. Thus it is possible to select the optional one of plural processing interruption states stored in the storage means 2 by selecting one of these means. Then the user can return to the selected state.
