    • PURPOSE:To make it unnecessary to execute an adjustment, and to secure a desired characteristic by using a variable capacity capacitor as a capacitor, controlling a variable capacitor of an electronic circuit by a phase detecting output obtained by a phase lock loop circuit, and absorbing a variance of a characteristic of the electronic circuit. CONSTITUTION:A reference signal of a prescribed frequency f0 outputted from a reference oscillator 16, and a signal of a frequency (f) outputted from a voltage control oscillator 18 are supplied to a phase detector and brought to a phase detection, a detected output voltage is smoothed by a lowpass filter 22 and an unnecessary component is eliminated, and it is supplied as a control voltage to the voltage control oscillator 18. In the voltage control oscillator 18, a variable capacity capacitor is controlled by this control voltage, and an electrostatic capacity of this variable capacity capacitor is set so that its oscillation frequency (f) becomes equal to the frequency f0 of the reference signal. That is to say, the electrostatic capacity of the variable capacity capacitor is varied by the control voltage, the frequency (f) and f0 are made to coincide with each other, and a variance of the resistance value and the electrostatic capacity is absorbed by the variable capacity capacitor. In this way, an electronic circuit which requires no adjustment from the outside can be converted to an IC.

    • PURPOSE:To correct the deterioration in the band characteristic of an orthogonal biphase modulation chroma signal by changing the gain at other desired frequency properly while the gain at a desired frequency is kept constant. CONSTITUTION:The gain control circuit consists of an input terminal 1, an output terminal 2, delay elements 3, 4, an attenuator 5, an amplifier 6, and adders 7-9. In the transmission characteristic Ha(jomega) represented in equation I, the same phase versus frequency characteristic as that of the signal of a delay time of Tsec with respect to an input signal is provided and a group delay versus frequency characteristic is made flat and equal to the delay time T, then phase characteristic and the group delay characteristic of the signals formed by the addition and substraction of the signals show the similar characteristic. Then the characteristic is used to change the band characteristic of the orthogonal biphase modulation chroma signal. Then the deterioration in the band of the orthogonal biphase modulation chroma signal is corrected without causing a disadvantage such as deterioration in the group delay characteristic.

    • PURPOSE:To sufficiently suppress high-frequency ripples, by using an operation type filter composed of two phase shifting circuits, two multipliers, and an adder or subtractor as a phase comparator. CONSTITUTION:The output signal upsiloni of a reference oscillator 1 and output signal upsilon0 of a VCO 8 are supplied to a multiplier 4 and a multiplied output upsilona is obtained. Moreover, these output signals upsiloni and upsilon0 are also supplied to another multiplier 5 after their phases are respectively shifted by +90 deg. by phase shifting circuits 2 and 3 and a multiplied output upsilonb is obtained. These multiplied outputs upsilona and upsilonb are added to each other by an adder 6 and a phase-difference voltage upsilone is obtained. Since the phase-difference voltage upsilone has the frequency difference component between the output signals upsiloni and upsilon0 only, it is sufficient to consider the passing characteristic to the frequency difference component at an LPF 7. Therefore, a reference oscillator is never affected by high-frequency ripples and the characteristic of the low pass filter 7 can be set by considering only loop characteristics, such as locking characteristic, transient response characteristic, frequency pulling-in range, etc., and PLL characteristics can be improved.
