    • PURPOSE: To carry out the efficient and uniform adhesion of cells to microcarriers, by rotating a vessel having inverted conical shape.
      CONSTITUTION: Microcarriers and cells are poured into the inverted conical vessel 3 through the inlet 4 at the optimum ratio, and the pinch cock 8 is closed. Since the center of the inverted conical vessel 3 forms a hollow part, the suspension is accumulated at the center. When the stirring member 2 is rotated by the magnetic stirrer 1, the vessel 3 is rotated at the same time, and the microcarriers and the cells are shifted slowly outward by the centrifugal force caused by the rotation. The cells are attached to the microcarriers during the shifting motion.

    • PURPOSE:To straighten and uniformize the shape and size of the pipe material into the true roundness, and to manufacture the high reliable circular-seam welded joint, by expanding the pipe end inserted into the holder, formed into the specified standard size, in accordance with the uniform pipe expanding method. CONSTITUTION:Inside diameter D3 of the holder 6 is set to the largest pipe size specified in the standard; the pipe 1 of outside diameter D1 is set in the holder 6. Next, the uniform pipe expander head 5 is inserted into this pipe 1, and the elastic pipe expanding medium 8 is axially compressed; thereby, the pipe 1 is expanded so far as the inside diameter D2 of the holder 6. Then, after the head 5 just finished the pipe expansion work is pulled away from the pipe 1, the clumping device 7 is released, the holder 6 is dismounted, and the pipe 1 is taken out. As a result, only the end of pipe 1 can be expanded to the inside diameter D2 of the holder 6, that is the largest size of the specified standard. Similarly, the pipe end of opponent pipe 2 of outside diameter D2 is expanded, and both pipes 1, 2, are straightened to the true roundness of identical outside diameter D3.

    • PURPOSE:To enhance stirring effect especially in a gas-liquid mixing stirrer by performing stirring with a stirring blade consisting of blades each having a recessed cross section toward a rotary direction and assymmetric in its cross section with respects to a horizontal axis so that the upper part of the cross section protrudes in the rotary direction as compared with the lower part thereof. CONSTITUTION:Stirring is performed with a stirring blade consisting of blades 8 each having a recessed cross section toward a rotary direction 7 and assymmetric in its cross section with respect to a horizontal axis to that the upper part of the cross section protrudes in the rotary direction as compared with the lower part thereof. That is, the air 12 blown in a stirring tank 1 from an air blowing-in port 3 raises through a liquid 13 and almost all of the air 12 impinges against the blades 8 to be sucked to the insides 11 of the recessed cross sections thereof to be strongly emitted into the liquid 13 resent in the outer peripheral parts 15 of the blades 8 by the centrifugal force generated by the rotation of the blades 8. As a result, the air 12 is uniformly dispersed into the liquid 13 and stirring effect is enhanced to a large extent as compared with a conventional stirring blade.

    • PURPOSE:To improve the effective usage of space inside a building with eliminating an opening of a traveling pit by providing a traveling device for opening and closing a door and a lifting device on a moving floor which is connecting to the traveling device. CONSTITUTION:A door 3 is moved in parallel to the face of a flange 2 to open or close it, a traveling pit 7 is provided with a traveling range of a door opening and closing system 4, and a moving floor 5 moves parallel to the opening and closing direction of the door 3. The moving floor 5 is stowed under a housing floor 6 with the moving floor 5 lowered, and the housing floor 6 is level with a building floor 8. When the door 3 is opened, the moving floor 5 travels with its height lower than the building floor 8, and is lifted up to the level of the building floor 8 when reaching an opening of the traveling pit 7, so that it forms a part of the building floor 8 and is ready to use. When the door 8 is closed, the moving floor 5 travels to a sole space provided under the building floor 8 with its height lower than the building floor 8, so that the moving floor 5 can be stowed. Thereby, the door opening and closing system 4 does not require to occupy a particular area on the building floor 8, so that the effective usage of inside space in a building is not interfered by the door opening and closing system 4.
