    • PURPOSE:To enhance stirring effect especially in a gas-liquid mixing stirrer by performing stirring with a stirring blade consisting of blades each having a recessed cross section toward a rotary direction and assymmetric in its cross section with respects to a horizontal axis so that the upper part of the cross section protrudes in the rotary direction as compared with the lower part thereof. CONSTITUTION:Stirring is performed with a stirring blade consisting of blades 8 each having a recessed cross section toward a rotary direction 7 and assymmetric in its cross section with respect to a horizontal axis to that the upper part of the cross section protrudes in the rotary direction as compared with the lower part thereof. That is, the air 12 blown in a stirring tank 1 from an air blowing-in port 3 raises through a liquid 13 and almost all of the air 12 impinges against the blades 8 to be sucked to the insides 11 of the recessed cross sections thereof to be strongly emitted into the liquid 13 resent in the outer peripheral parts 15 of the blades 8 by the centrifugal force generated by the rotation of the blades 8. As a result, the air 12 is uniformly dispersed into the liquid 13 and stirring effect is enhanced to a large extent as compared with a conventional stirring blade.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent decrease in the flow velocity of fluid at a tank wall which is discharged from an agitating element and to excellently mix the whole tank content by providing a projection having the straightening effect to the tank wall on a prolongation of the agitating element in an agitation tank provided with a rotary vane. CONSTITUTION:The ring-shaped projections 4 are provided on the prolongations of the agitating elements 3 at the inner wall of an agitation tank 1. The cross- sectional shape of the projection 4 is a triangle or the same whose side is curved. Motive power is transferred to the agitating elements 3 by rotating an agitating shaft 2. Fluid 5 in the tank is discharged in the direction shown by the arrow 6 vertical to the tank wall. Fluid 5 discharged vertically to the tank wall collides against the ring-shaped projections 4 and the direction thereof is changed as shown by the arrows 7, 8. In such a way, fluid 5 flows along the ring-shaped projections 4 and decrease in flow velocity is inhibited. Fluid is straightened by the tank wall and thereby a dead zone is eliminated which is the stagnant place of fluid. Thus, agitation efficiency is enhanced and also heat transfer efficiency from the tank wall is enhanced.

    • PURPOSE:To reduce stirring power and to enhance stirring efficiency by mounting respective blades to an agitating element so as to incline the same in the rotary direction of the element so that the speeds of the fluid flowing along the blades at the respective positions of a plurality of the blades constituting the agitating element become same. CONSTITUTION:A boss 9 having a disc 10 fixed thereto is mounted to a stirring shaft 4 and a plurality of blades 11 are fixed to the periphery of the disc 10 to constitute an agitating element 1. Further, the respective blades 1 are mounted to the disc 10 so as to be inclined with respect to the rotary direction of the agitating element so that the speeds of the fluid flowing along the respective blades become the same value at the respective positions of the blades. As a result, the flow in the diameter direction due to the blades increases and the mixing capacity of the fluid in the whole of a tank is enhanced and stirring power per a unit volume is reduced and stirring efficiency is enhanced.
