    • PURPOSE:To install a rain stop cover in a short time and prevent it from being floated up by a wind, by providing wheels on both the lower ends of the frame of the rain stop cover, inserting a wire rope through the frame, tightening the rope and securing the frame. CONSTITUTION:Wheels 15 are provided on both the lower ends of a frame 10 for supporting the sheet 11 of a rain stop cover 4, so that the wheels can be moved on a hatch 3. A wire rope 17 is inserted through the wire holes 16 of the lower portions of the frame 10 so that both the ends of the frame are secured as the wire rope is tightened. According to this constitution, the floating-up of the rain stop cover 4 by a wind, which could not be prevented by the wheels 15, is prevented, the installing properties of the rain stop cover are improved and its installation time is shortened.

    • PURPOSE:To enhance the operational efficiency of a magnetic separation apparatus, by forming gap parts to the pole piece and the return frame of the magnetic separation apparatus in a vertical direction to shorten the time constant of excitation and demagnetization of an electromagnet. CONSTITUTION:This magnetic separation apparatus is constituted from a canister 1 containing a filler material 7 comprising a porous magnetic material, a pole piece 2 magnetizing the filler material 7, an electromagnetic coil 4 magnetizing the pole piece 2 and the filler material 7 and return frames 5, 6 surrounding said coil 4. To the pole piece 2 and the return frames 5, 6 slit 8, 9 are vertically formed so as to pierce through the plates thereof in a thickness direction and the gaps between each slits are connected by an insulating adhesive. Therefore, the inductance value of each element is reduced to 1/10 or less while the time constant of an electromagnet is also reduced to 1/10 or less and the opeational efficiency of the magnetic separation apparatus is enhanced to a large extent.
