摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an optical reception circuit by which an identification error of a large signal and a small signal is less. SOLUTION: This circuit is made up of a photodiode 1 that converts a burst optical signal into an electric signal, an amplifier 2 that amplifies the electric signal, a decision circuit that consists of an amplifier stage 3 and a peak detection circuit 4 and sets a decision level corresponding to the reception power, a reset circuit that restores a state of the decision circuit to an initial value before receiving the burst signal, and an identification circuit 10 having a hysteresis characteristic to identify the output from the decision circuit. The decision circuit is configured to be a multi-stage that is a pre-stage decision circuit 7 and a post-stage decision circuit 9 and after the initializing of the pre-stage discrimination circuit 7 is finished, the post-stage decision circuit 9 is initialized.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a circuit that extracts a clock signal from a burst signal with a few components. SOLUTION: This clock extract circuit is made up of a polyphase clock generating section 1, a selector 2, a phase comparator circuit 3, a time/voltage conversion circuit 4, a peak holding circuit 5, an A/D converter circuit 6, a reset pulse supply circuit 7, and a holding circuit 8, the clock generating circuit 1 uses an external clock for a reference clock to produce a plurality of clock signals whose frequencies are identical to each other but whose phases differ from each other, the time/voltage conversion circuit 4 converts a pulse signal (burst signal) with a pulse width equal to a phase difference being an output of the phase comparator 3 that receives the reference clock signal and a reception signal into a voltage, the peak holding circuit 5 holds a peak level of the voltage, the A/D converter 6 quantizes the peak level, the holding circuit 8 holds the quantized signal till the burst signal continues to control the selector 2, which selects a clock signal whose phase is closest to a phase of the burst signal and provides an output of the selected clock signal.

摘要： PURPOSE:To improve collecting efficiency for fine particles, by arranging magnetic bodies, having fixed sectional shapes respectively, at a special distance between both end surfaces of the bodies regularly in a filter-vessel for a magnetic separator. CONSTITUTION:Magnetic bodies 11 having slender rectangular cross-sections of each 2l width which is >=4 times of thickness 2t, are arranged in large numbers so as to make each distance 2r between both end surfaces of the bodies 0.2- 0.5 times of the width 2l of the body, in a filter-vessel for a magnetic filter. A logically and experimentally analyzed result for the relations among three principal items of a sharply-inclining magnetic-field separator, that is; (1) the surface magnetic pole of a magnetic body, (2) magnetic field gradient between meshes of the magnetic bodies, and (3) fine particle collecting efficiency at the filter, shows clearly that the arrangement of the magnetic bodies 11 as above- mentioned is most effective for the improvement of fine-particle-collecting efficiency.

摘要： PURPOSE:To improve the abrasion resistance of a roll for quick cooling of molten metal and decrease the degradation in the surface accuracy thereof by constituting said roll a high-speed roll or superhard alloy and forming a nitride coating layer on the circumferential surface. CONSTITUTION:In a roll which quickly solidifies the molten metal ejecting from a nozzle by allowing the same to contact the circumferential surface thereof, a high- speed steel or superhard alloy which does not cause degradation in its hardness despite the rise in surface temp. and the hardness of which itself is high is used for the roll body, and the surface thereof is nitrided. The suitable thickness of the nitrided layer is about 5- about 100mum. The roll obtained in this way has high abrasion resistance and causes less increase in surface roughness with an increase in the times of use.
