    • PURPOSE:To obtain assembling of a thrust bearing without removing a revolving yoke by winding up the cables of electromagnets, which face each other through a revolving yoke, in the same direction and moreover enabling a bearing case to be splitted into two or more pieces with respect to the peripheral direction. CONSTITUTION:Half bearing cases 14, which can be integrated into one cylindrical body connecting them by means of bolts, are prepared. On the periphery of the cases 14 are arranged E-leg-type iron cores 11 at an equal interval, and cables are wound up in such a manner that the three upper half E-leg-type iron cores are integrated into one body. When this thrust bearing is assembled into a rotor, the half structures are inserted from the both upper and lower sides and bolted up, and finally the cable connectors 15 are connected to each other.
