    • PURPOSE:To enjoy an image of specific input mode simultaneously even when an input mode of only a sound signal is reproduced by selecting an input terminal to which a video signal is connected automatically when the input terminal to which the video signal is connected is selected. CONSTITUTION:Whether or not the video output terminal of other on-vehicle equipment to an input terminal B2 is connected is detected by an external equipment connection detecting circuit 3 for the input terminal B2 and the detection result is sent to a microcomputer 4. The microcomputer 4 processes the information and information on the kind of the input terminal according to a flow chart. A video input switching circuit 5 is controlled according to the result and an input to a video processing circuit 6 is switched. The software program of the microcomputer 4 is so written that when the video output terminal is not connected to the input terminal B2, a video input switching circuit 5 is controlled to pass an input signal to an input terminal A1 if the input terminal B2 is selected. Consequently, even when the input mode of only the sound signal is reproduced, the image of the specific input mode is reproduced at the same time.

    • PURPOSE:To enable stabilization of reception frequency, even with ambient temperature and power supply voltage in variation, by correcting the variation of local oscillating frequency. This output changes DC analog value of the D/A converter 24, controls the local oscillator 13, and frequency control is continued until the counter output signal of the counter 33 is in agreement with the content stored in the first memory circuit 511, before the frequency variation in the control loop of the oscillator 13 counter 20 frequency correector 50 channel selector 20, allowing to correct the local oscillating frequency into the frequency before variation.

    • PURPOSE:To reduce the cost and to increase the easiness of the operation, by providing the control unit for selection and reception of traffic information station with the automatic tuning function, only when the traffic information reception swtich is ON. CONSTITUTION:The car radio receiver consists of the reception circuit 100, automatic tuning unit 200, traffic information station detecting circuit 300, shoot circuit 400, and control unit 500, and the control unit 500 performs automatic tuning with the operation of the traffic information reception switch 304 and selects the traffic information station and stops and outputs audio output of the radio receiver during the traffic information broadcast time only. That is, when the swtich 304 is ON, the swtich 304 signal is input to the gate 510g to set FF520 and also input to the gate 510S and further input to the automatic tuning sweep circuit 201 via the gate 510t to start sweep. Next, if the trigger signal is detected at the trigger detection circuit 203 during the sweep and only when the traffic information station is detected 301, the output of the gate 510b is at ''H'' to stop the sweep.
