    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure the uniformity of luminance of a display surface by setting lengths or widths till respective prolongingly existing end parts of respective first metallic layers so that wiring resistances of video signal lines respectively become roughly equal to prevent the delay difference of a video signal from being generated every line of the video signal lines. SOLUTION: Video signal lines 3 consist of first metallic layers extending from a pixel area side and second metallic layers extending till video signal supplying terminals. Then, lengths or widths till the extension end parts of respective first metallic layers are set so that wiring resistances of the video signal lines become roughly equal. For example, since the length of the video signal line 3 of a central part is the shortest, the the video signal line 3 constituted of a laminated film consisting of successive laminations of Cr and Al is made to extend to a shortest distance and video signal lines 3 to be successively positioned at outer sides are made to extending successively longer in accordance with their positions. Then, connections of the video signal lines 3 and respective electrodes of a semiconductor IC 7 are performed via other electrically conductive layers 20 whose resistance values are higher than that of the laminated film.

    • PURPOSE: To solve the image quality defect and to improve the reliability by varying the number of connecting terminals of a counter electrode driving circuit to a liquid crystal matrix panel and the number of counter voltage supply points to the counter electrodes in this liquid crystal matrix panel. CONSTITUTION: This liquid crystal matrix display device includes the liquid crystal matrix panel having plural scanning electrodes 3, signal electrodes 7 and switching elements 9, plural pixel electrodes connected to these elements 9 are the counter electrodes 11 arranged to face the pixel electrodes via liquid crystals, scanning electrode driving circuit 4, a signal electrode driving circuit 5 and the counter electrode driving circuit 61. The counter voltage is inputted via plural counter electrode connecting terminals 60 from the counter electrode driving circuit 61. The device is provided with the plural counter voltage supply points 8 exclusive of the points near signal electrodes 7. The counter voltage is inputted through counter voltage distributing lines 80, 81 to the counter voltage supply points 8 and is supplied to the counter electrodes 11. As the result, the parallel connection resistance at the counter voltage supply points is lowered and the waveform distortions of the counter voltage in the panel surface are decreased.

    • PURPOSE: To increase the pixel opening rate and to improve the display quality by interposing a semiconductor film and an insulating film formed by the same stage as the stage for forming semiconductor film and gate insulating film for forming channels of TFTs between video signal line and insulated substrate. CONSTITUTION: On the transparent glass substrate, a thin-film transistor(TFT) having an inverted stagger structure in which gate electrode GL, the gate insulating film GI, the (i) type semiconductor layer AS for forming channel and source and drain electrodes SD1, SD2 are successively formed, is provided. The semiconductor layer which is formed out of the same material simultaneously with the (i) type semiconductor layer AS for forming channel broader than the video signal line DL and the insulating film formed out of the same material simultaneously with the gate insulating film GI of the TFT does not exists along the video signal line DL between the video signal line DL and the transparent glass substrate. Then, the spacing between the video signal line DL and the transparent pixel electrode ITO 1 is made narrow and, therefore, the width of the transparent pixel electrode ITO 1 is widened.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure the connection resistance value of an electric conductive material without being affected by the resistance of other wiring layers, etc., by providing a couple of terminals for measurement which constitute an electric path having a conductive material interposed as to an electrode connected to the conductive material and a terminal for measurement which constitutes an electric path having the conductive material interposed in addition to an external terminal connected to the conductive material. SOLUTION: As for the electrode connected to the conductive material AGP, the couple of measurement terminals (1) and (2) having the conductive material AGP interposed and the measurement terminal (3) which forms the electric path having the conductive AGP interposed in addition to the external terminal (4) connected to the conductive material AGP are provided. In this liquid crystal display device, while a certain voltage is applied to two out of those terminals (1) to (4), a current flowing between the remaining two terminals is measured. Consequently, only the connection resistance value of the conductive AGP can be calculated.

That is, in the input wiring Td, a transparent conductive film d1 is exposed with a wide arear as a part other than the protective film PSV1 exposed to the surface of the wiring and this exposed transparent conductive film d1 is made to be an inspecting terminal (a pad) and also the film d1 and the output terminal of the flexible substrate is directly connected.
