    • PURPOSE: To provide a data analysis method capable of classifying plural rules generated by the instruction of a user from the data of a data base into the highly common rule groups of suitable data. CONSTITUTION: The rules for extracting the appearing area of a record provided with a predetermined feature from the records of the data base are generated and displayed for number given by the instruction of a user together with the adaptation of the rules in a rule form composed of a condition part provided with more than one record items and a conclusion part provided with one record item based on the instruction of the user (11). The degree of the similarity of the rule between the specified rule specified by the user and the other rules is obtained (20), the specified rule and the other rule provided with the degree of the similarity of the rule higher than the lowest degree of the similarity are displayed in a pair and registered based on the instruction of the user (30). Further, the rule is selected from the registered rules or a new rule is generated, the degree of the similarity between the respective pairs of the rules in the rules is obtained and displayed and the inclusion relation of a pair of the rules specified by the user is obtained and displayed (40).

    • PURPOSE: To shorten the working time for a data analysis by squeezing down many items of a data base on an analysis item, selecting a rule for analysis to be used for an analysis and outputting the rule. CONSTITUTION: An analysis item convergence part 112 calculates the dispersion and correlation coefficient of inputted object data and displays them through the screen of an analysis item selection part 131. A rule generation part 113 combines conditions in the range of a maximum condition number and performs a calculation by defining the rate of 'reactive' data contained in the data compatible to a rule as density. A rule evaluation part 114 performs the calculation by defining the rate of 'reactive' data compatible to the rules in a rule output order as a cumulative covering ratio and displays the transition graphs of the cumulative convering ratio and the density on the screen of a rule selection part 133. When the display range of the rule is inputted, the discrimination ratio of each condition of the rules, the predictive values of the density by the integrated value of the discrimination ratio of each condition are comapred, the rule in which the integrated value is large is emphatically displayed and the conditions are displayed in the higher discrimination ratio order of each condition.

    • PURPOSE:To decrease the burden of a user by dividing an inputted character string when the maximum number of stored characters is smaller than the number of the characters in the inputted character string to be a retrieve object, and indicating the retrieve of the maximally corresponding character string as one word. CONSTITUTION:When the character code string of an input character code storing part 1 matches with the word in a dictionary in a character code comparing part 3, the number of the maximally corresponding characters and an address in the dictionary are stored into a maximal length correspondence storing part 4. Based on the number of the characters stored into the storage part 4, a comparison objective character code control part 5 separates the character code string by using a partitioning code, and a comparative collating processing with a character code storage part 2 is executed again. That is, when the word to be the retrieve object of the input character string is not stored into the dictionary in an original form, the word to be the retrieve object, the number of the maximally corresponding characters and the address in the dictionary at such a time point are stored. Based on the information, by applying a control such as division to the word to be the retrieve object, the optimal word information stored into the dictionary can be obtained by binary search for one time.

    • PURPOSE: To impart an information which is useful for improving customer service and for making improving plans for present job contents of an article planning/development, etc., by performing a simple data summing up processing of an analysis object file and visually outputting the result. CONSTITUTION: This system is provided with means 201 and 202 performing filtering of collected data and further adopting or rejecting the data for which the filtering is performed, a means 206 storing the adopted or rejected data in an analysis object file based on a preliminarily set code classification system and a means 208 performing the simple summing up processing 207 of the data of the analysis object file and visually outputting the result. The collected complaint/inquiry contents and an existing customer information data base are merged with a related key, the customer attribute information which is not collected in the conversation with a customer is included and the analysis object file is prepared. Based on the data of this analysis object file, the analysis of complaint/inquiry data is done. The analysis result is outputted by the frequency distribution of complaint/inquiry contents and the expression forms of correlation interested persons.
