摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chemical for injection into the ground which has a short gelling time, exhibits sufficient strength, and is excellent in long-term durability and permeability into the ground, and to provide a ground improvement method using the chemical for injection into the ground.SOLUTION: In a chemical for injection into the ground which contains ground granulated blast-furnace slag, classified cement, a polyacrylic acid-based dispersant, slaked lime, and an alkali metal silicate, (1) the content of the polyacrylic acid-based dispersant is 0.1-3 pts.mass with respect to 100 pts.mass of the total of the ground granulated blast-furnace slag and the classified cement, (2) the content of the slaked lime is 15-35 pts.mass based on 100 pts.mass of the total of the total of the ground granulated blast-furnace slag and the classified cement, and (3) the alkali metal silicate is represented by the following general formula (I): RO_nSiO(R: an alkali metal salt) (I), (wherein a molar ratio n is not less than 2.5).

2 O (molar ratio) is 5.17. The composition is stable because the precipitation of silica is not observed when the composition is stored in a thermostatic chamber at 25°C for half a year.
