    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drying device which prevents fusion of powder such as toner inside a drying machine and reduces the coarse powder generated by the fusion.
      SOLUTION: The drying device has: a hollow cylindrical or conical casing; a plurality of airflow nozzles mounted on a side face of the casing in a dispersed state and blasting out the heated air into the casing; a material supply port formed on any of the side face, upper face and lower face of the casing and supplying the moist powder; and a discharge port formed on the upper face or lower face of the casing and discharging the air and the dried powder. The diameter of the airflow nozzles, the height from the end of the airflow nozzles up to the upper face of the casing, and the height from the end of the diameter of the airflow nozzles up to the lower face of the casing are set in prescribed relations, thereby the fusion of the powder such as the toner, in the drying machine is prevented so as to reduce the coarse powder generated by the fusion.
