SOLUTION: The digital camera which makes the light of a subject form images on a solid-state imaging element and generates a picture signal is equipped with a lens barrel which incorporates a photographic lens and in which the length of barrel can be freely changed between an accommodation state in which the length of the barrel is relatively short and a shooting state in which the length of the barrel is relatively long and moreover the lens barrel is equipped with a light quantity control means which controls the light quantity of photographic light passing through the photographic lens, and a light quantity control member moving mechanism which retracts the light control member from on a photographic optical axis in the case of transition from the shooting state to a collapse barrel state and advances the retracted light quantity control member on the photographic optical axis in the case of transition from the collapsed barrel state to the shooting state.

摘要： PURPOSE:To open and close a lens barrier without moving a moving lens barrel unnecessarily by holding the moving lens barrel in a stop state within the prescribed circular motion range of a pin member and allowing only the circular motion of the pin member, and opening and closing the lens barrier by the circular motion. CONSTITUTION:The pin member 1 is fixed nearby the outer periphery of a disk 8 arranged above a lens barrel moving lever 2 eccentrically from the center on its reverse surface and enters the circular motion by the rotation of the disk 8. The disk 8 is coupled with a driving gear 9 arranged on the top surface of a fixed cylinder 3 through a shaft 10 and rotates by motor driving through a gear mechanism including a gear 11 engaging the driving gear 9. Then the lens barrel moving lever 2, i.e. moving lens barrel 4 is held in a stop state within the prescribed circular motion range of the pin member 1 and the lens barrier 7 is opened and closed by the circular motion. Consequently, the lens barrier 7 is opened and closed without moving the moving lens barrel 4 unnecessarily.

With the planetary gear 8d of a 2nd planetary gear train 8 meshed with the 1st planetary gear 5d, the rotation of the motor 2 is transmitted to the planetary gear 8a from the planetary gear 5d; therefore the lens unit is operated to switch a focus distance to standard or telescope.

SOLUTION: The film pressure plate 42 energized by a film pressure plate spring is provided in a rear cover. A pushing pin 51 is provided outside the film rail and shifted in a photographing optical axial direction by a pushing cam 55. The pressure plate 42 is pushed by the top end of the pushing pin 51, to be shifted in the photographing optical axial direction. The rotation of a film feeding motor 35 is transmitted to a spool rotary shaft 18 through a film feeding gear train 61, to feed a film. A film pressure plate position switching gear train 58 is linked with the film feeding gear train 61 through a planetary gear clutch 59. The pushing cam 55 is rotated to change the tunnel gap, by the rotation in a direction opposite to the feeding direction of the film of the film feeding motor 35.

Also, the housing part of the main battery 34 is made to have a light-shielded structure by the main battery housing case 35, so that light is prevented from entering the inside of a spool chamber at the time of exchanging the main battery 34.
