      SOLUTION: This camera comprises the ring-like mode selection button 40 and a mode determination button 42 provided in the center part thereof. The rubber seat 60 is arranged in between the mode selection button 40, the mode determination button 42 and the contacts. Swollen parts 60A and 60B are formed on the rubber seat 60, so that the swollen part 60A abuts against and supports the mode determination button 42, and the swollen part 60B abuts against and supports the mode selection button 40. The swollen part 60B is formed in a ring shape and is connected at the positions of contact members 66-72.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To execute photographing in a wide range without causing photographing defect or abnormally supplying film by independently inhibiting photographing by a 1st optical system and photographing by a 2nd optical system when a detected temperature value exceeds a previously set threshold. SOLUTION: Temperature measured by a temperature sensor 198 is read by a temperature detection part 196. When the power source of the composite camera is turned on, an APSCPU 150 reads the temperature value and decides whether or not it is a temperature area where the camera can perform photographing as a silver salt(APS) camera and photographing as a digital(DSC) camera. Generally, the discharge of a battery decreases in the case of low temperature, on the other hand, the torque output of a driving motor decreases in the case of high temperature. When the depth of field of the optical system on a DSC side is large, a focusing mechanism on the DSC side is omitted and focusing processing is eliminated, so that the optical system on the DSC side can execute photographing in the case of low temperature or high temperature compared with the photographing system on an APS side.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively utilize the energy of a battery by turning off a liquid crystal display unit for picture display and also making only photographing by using film possible when the terminal voltage of the battery is deteriorated at a camera with a liquid crystal finder. SOLUTION: The terminal voltage of a power source battery 70 is detected by a voltage detecting circuit, and a detected voltage value is informed to a central processing unit(CPU) 32. The CPU 32 compares a voltage value with a reference value previously set, and suppresses power consumption by turning off a liquid crystal monitor 8 in the case that the voltage value is equal to or below the reference value, and also makes the photographing by using silver salt film possible though the liquid crystal monitor 8 is turned off. Also, the photographing by a CCD 30 is effectively made to function even in the case that the liquid crystal monitor 8 is turned off, so that picture data obtained through the CCD 30 at the time of photographing by using the film is stored in a memory. Thus, the picture data is restored from the memory after exchanging the battery and a photographed picture is reproduced and confirmed.
