摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To comparatively inexpensively and stably provide compound alloy metal balls of a high melting point excellent as connectors of electrical/electronic circuit components.
SOLUTION: The metal ball surfaces are provided with electroplating silver-copper alloy film layers and the silver content of the silver-copper alloy films is specified 5 to 97wt% and the film thickness to ≥0.5 μm. In addition, the metal balls are composed of single metal or alloy having the melting point higher than the melting point of the silver-copper alloy film layers. The metal balls which are minute, are excellent in sphericity and have uniform dimensional accuracy are produced by an equal liquid droplet spray process, plasma rotating electrode process or flushing process and thereafter the silver-copper alloy film layers of a uniform film thickness are formed by an electroplating process on the resultant metal ball surfaces. The compound alloy metal ball of the high melting point having excellent joining characteristics can thus be provided by taking advantage of the sphericity and dimensional accuracy of the workpiece metal balls.

SOLUTION: The negative electrode has the current collector of copper foil of 8 to 70 μm, made by electrolysis or rolling, on one or both sides of which is hot-dip plated tin or a tin alloy comprising tin and one or more selected from silver, aluminum, silicon, bismuth, copper, nickel, cobalt, manganese, zinc, antimony and iron to form the active substance of 2 to 25 μm in thickness, wherein the copper of the current collector and the tin or tin alloy of the active substance dissolve in each other to form an alloy phase on the interface therebetween.

SOLUTION: Aliphatic acid in an amount 0.05-2 wt.% is added to a copper alloy powder containing 3-75 wt.% silver, and the obtained substance is processed into flakes mechanically and subjected to a reduction treatment in the reductive atmosphere at a temp. between 150 and 500 deg.C so that a powder having particle sizes under 100 μm and a BET specific surface area of 2000 cm /g or more is prepared. The produced copper alloy powder exerts a performance identical to silver powder despite the flake from, different from conventional granular powder, and it is possible to manufacture particles even having fine sizes industrially at a low cost.

SOLUTION: The production method of a zinc solder ball uses a solder alloy containing the tin as the main component and 7-10 wt% zinc and ≤ 500 ppm lead content in the alloy to obtain the tin-zinc solder ball by spheroidizing with a uniform drip spraying method. The production method thereof is prepared with an apparatus provided with a closed crucible 1 having an orifice 7 at the bottom part, a first heating means 2 arranged on the circumference of the crucible, a cooling medium vessel 13 including the cooling medium 14 for solidifying fused material dripped down from the orifice and a second heating means 11, 12 arranged on respective circumferences of the upper side portion and the lower side portion of the cooling vessel. The above solder alloy is charged into the crucible and heated and fused with the first heating means to obtain fused material, and the temperature adjustment is performed and the fused material is vibrated in the crucible, ejected from the orifice while charging a gas into the crucible and the fused material is solidified and spheroidized in the cooling medium heated with the second heating means.

SOLUTION: The hydrogen separation membrane comprises niobium alloy foil with an amorphous crystal structure. The niobium alloy foil is composed of 5-65 atomic percent of at least one or more selected from a group comprising Ni, Co and Mo as a first doping element, 0.1-60 atomic percent of at least one or more selected from a group comprising V, Ti, Zr, Ta and Hf as a second doping onal element, and the balance Nb as an essential constituent element. The niobium alloy foil may contain 0.01-20 atomic percent Al and/or Cu as a third doping element. In producing this kind of alloy foil, after preparing a metal formulation comprising the above-mentioned composition, the metal formulation is heated at a temperature of not lower than the melting point under the inert gas and melted, and worked into a membrane form (a foil form) using a melt quenching method.
