    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat which allows adjustment of the seating height by a simple configuration.SOLUTION: In a vehicular seat, planar support member 15 is arranged on the back surface side of a cushion member for a seat cushion part, and the peripheral length of the planar support member 150 between a front beam 112 and a back beam 113 is changed by adjusting the degree of stretching of the planar support member 150 with a take-up mechanism 160 so as to adjust the seating height of a seating person. The seating height can be changed simply by adjusting the degree of the peripheral length of the planar support member 150, instead of ascending/descending of the cushion frame itself, resulting in a simple configuration and control of the hip point at a lower level. The vehicular seat is thus especially suitable for seats of sport type vehicles requiring a low hip point.
