摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a purification treating agent for a high temperature exhaust gas capable of simultaneously reducing an acid gas, an alkaline compound, and a heavy metal and its compound in a high temperature gas, and to provide a purification processing method. SOLUTION: The purification treating agent 5 is constituted from a mixed granulated material obtained by mixing and granulating a calcium compound, a silicon dioxide containing material and a clay mineral or a mixed granulated material of a granulated material obtained by mixing and granulating a calcium compound and a silicon dioxide containing material, and a clay mineral. It is preferred for the mixed granulated material to contain 85 mass% or more of the granulated material of which the particle size is 45-300 μm. It is preferred that the content of the calcium compound is 70-45 mass% as calcium dioxide, the content of the silicon dioxide containing material is 20-10 mass% as silicon dioxide and the content of the clay mineral is 10-45 mass% as kaolin. The high temperature gas is brought in contact with the purification treating agent 5 at a temperature of 600-900°C and then, the particulate is collected by a ceramic filter 11. The heavy metal absorbent may be fixed in an absorption device 12 or may be applied on a filter element of the high temperature dust collector 11, or may be fluidized in a furnace or sprayed at an inlet of the high temperature dust collector 11.
