    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for measuring a position of a guard rail for preventing derailment, which enable the high-precision measurement of the position of the guard rail for preventing the derailment, with respect to a rail, by applying image processing to a detection signal of a two-dimensional displacement sensor, so as to reduce an image processing load.
SOLUTION: A spacing between a head surface of the rail and a top surface of the guard rail for preventing the derailment, which is obtained when a spacing between the rail and the guard rail for preventing the derailment is set at a normal distance, is computed by image processing, so that an offset value from the normal distance can be computed. Thus, the amount of deviation from a value computed by the image processing is obtained; and the continuity of a measurement range (measurement value) is secured by correcting the amount of deviation by the offset value, without securing the continuity of an image in a rail crossing direction and without reference to the state of the installation of the plurality of two-dimensional displacement sensors in the rail crossing direction.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device which is both easy to mount and dismount and which secures measurement accuracy, and to provide a railway vehicle. SOLUTION: This measuring device 5 is fixed on a surface on the rail R side of an axle box 4 by a sensor fixing member 8a and the fourth fixing member 8b, and each shape of a box member 21 and a lid member 22 of the measuring device 5 is constituted symmetric with respect to both straight lines, namely, a virtual straight line L1 formed by connecting a pair of sensor fixing members 8a, and a virtual straight line L2 orthogonal to the virtual straight line L1 and passing a middle point of the pair of sensor fixing members 8a, in a plan view. A sensor member 9 is disposed on the virtual straight line L1. Hence, the measurement accuracy of the sensor member 9 can be secured, by suppressing the resonance between the box member 21 and the lid member 22. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tongue rail contact condition measuring apparatus and a tongue rail wear amount measuring apparatus that can efficiently and successively measure a head surface shape of a stock rail and an end of a tongue rail in a state where the rails contact with each other at a branch part of the rails without depending on a guess of an operator.SOLUTION: A clamp member is provided for clamping and fixing an end of a bridge member onto a second rail so that a bridge structure between a first rail and the second rail can support a linear movement mechanism on the second rail and on the first rail, while maintaining the fixation state. Accordingly, a measurement signal on a head surface shape of the first rail and a tongue rail contacting the first rail can be successively obtained in a rail lengthwise direction by a two-dimensional displacement sensor for moving a movable carriage of the linear movement mechanism. According to the measurement signal, a tongue rail wear amount can also be obtained.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rail head face shape measurement device and measurement method to efficiently and continuously measure the head face shape of a rail with high accuracy, without depending on an operator's intuition and reduce the data processing loads in a data processing apparatus.
SOLUTION: First and second two-dimensional displacement sensors are fixed to a sensor support member. The sensor support member is fixed to the moving base of a straight moving mechanism and measurement light, by using the angle part of a rail wheel tread as the measurement center is emitted to the head face of the rail, respectively from both sides of the rail. By moving the sensor support member, a two-dimensional measurement signal indicating the displacement from a predetermined reference position is obtained, by using the angle part of the rail wheel tread center as the measurement center.
