    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a double pipe type steel pipe pile for vibration isolation which can rotate and press-fit an inner pipe and an outer pipe at the same time while maintaining a space formed of the pipes by devising an engaging structure between the inner pipe, the outer pipe, and a cap covering the inner pipe and greatly contributes to the shortening of a construction period and the reduction of cost, and a construction method of the steel pipe pile.
      SOLUTION: The double pipe type steel pipe pile for vibration isolation includes the inner pipe 1 provided with a closed-end cylindrical cover 4 into which the lower end of the outer pipe 2 is fitted in the vicinity of the lower end thereof, the outer tube 2 whose lower end is fitted into the closed-end cylindrical cover 4 and which is positioned concentric with the inner tube 1, and a cylindrical part 5 fitted into a space of the upper end formed by the inner pipe 1 and the outer pipe 2 and having a ring 6, contacting with the upper surface of the outer pipe 2 on the outer peripheral surface, and comprises the cap 3 for covering the upper surface of the inner pipe 1. The inner pipe 1 is rotation-transmittably fitted to the cap 3, and the outer pipe 2 is rotation-transmittably fitted to the inner pipe 1.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an earth retaining wall capable of providing a water shielding function only at a part where there is a soil layer requiring water shielding on an excavation surface.SOLUTION: An earth retaining wall 10 is constructed on an excavation surface 16 surrounding an excavation part. The earth retaining wall 10 is formed at a height H1 between a ground surface 42 and an excavation bottom surface 34, and a sandy soil layer 12 requiring water shielding is present in a part of the excavation surface 16. The earth retaining wall 10 is provided with an H-steel 20. The H-steel 20 is built in an excavation hole 18 and the foot is protected. The excavation hole 18 is excavated to a depth H2 reaching a sandy soil layer 13 by a diameter D1, and an excavation diameter is enlarged to a diameter D2 at a part where the excavation hole 18 passes through the sandy soil layer 12. Inside the excavation hole 18, a soil cement column 26 for which cement milk and excavated soil are mixed and agitated is constructed. At a columnar part whose diameter is enlarged to the diameter D2, adjacent outer peripheral parts are wrapped and a wall-like soil cement column water shielding part 22 is constructed.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an existing building foundation reinforcing method for safely and positively reinforcing an existing spread foundation by newly or additionally setting support piles or friction piles to a bottom surface of an existing building while maintaining the existing building in service conditions.
      SOLUTION: The existing building foundation reinforcing method is composed of the following steps; in the first step, a shaft 1 is excavated in the ground 11 around the existing building 10, and by using the shaft 1, box culverts 3 are horizontally laid in the ground 11 immediately under the existing building 10. In the second step bottom slabs 3a of the box culverts 3 at locations where the piles 5 are to be constructed are removed, and the piles 5 are constructed in the ground 11 immediately under the removed bottom slabs. Then supports 8 are erected in a gap between top slabs 3b of the box culverts 3 and a bottom surface 2 of the building, and the ground 11 at locations of the supports is excavated, followed by removing the top slabs 3b of the box culverts 3 located immediately above the piles 5 are removed. In the third step, support means 6 for supporting the bottom surface 2 of the building are arranged on upper surfaces of the piles 5 via removed portions of the top slabs 3b, respectively.
