A q-axis magnetic path is formed in a core region between the first permanent magnet 26, and the second permanent magnets 28a, 28b and the first region 40. Inlet/output portions 50a, 50b of the q-axis magnetic path formed between second regions 34 of low permeability, disposed on both circumferential sides of the first permanent magnet 26, and the second permanent magnets 28a, 28b are formed to the substantially same distance as a central portion 50c of the q-axis magnetic path formed between the first permanent magnet 26 and the first region 40.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotating electrical machine wherein a coolant is prevented from leaking from the gap between a rotor core end face and an end plate without increasing the size of a rotor and a coil end of a stator is efficiently cooled.
      SOLUTION: A motor 10 is provided with: the stator 20 with a coil 22 wound thereon and the rotor 30 placed inside the stator 20. The rotor 30 has the end plate 40 set on the end face of the rotor core 31 and coolant supplying means 36, 44, 45, 60, 61, 62 that supply coolant to the end face of the rotor core 31. The end plate 40 has a spray hole 42 so formed that it penetrates the end plate in the direction of the rotor shaft to spray coolant, supplied to the end face of the rotor core 31 by the coolant supplying means, to the coil ends 22a, 22b of the coil 22 wound on the stator 20. On the end face of the rotor core 31, a protruded annular seal portion 38 is formed. The spray hole 42 is positioned inside the seal portion 38 in the radial direction.
