    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a vehicle driving apparatus with which a partial engagement state of an engagement device can be easily achieved and the responsiveness of the engagement device can be maintained favorably.SOLUTION: The vehicle driving apparatus includes a rotating electrical machine MG and the engagement device C1 on a power transmission path which links an input member drive-coupled to an internal combustion engine and an output member drive-coupled to vehicle wheels. The engagement device C1 includes an engagement input side member 31 coupled to the input member, an engagement output side member 32 which forms a pair with the engagement input side member 31 and is coupled to the rotating electrical machine MG, a friction member 33 disposed between the engagement input side member 31 and the engagement output side member 32, and a pressing member 34 for pressing the friction member 33 in the pressing direction A2. A working oil pressure chamber H1 is formed between the engagement output side member 32 and the pressing member 34, and a biasing spring 35 for biasing the pressing member 34 in the pressing direction A2 when no working oil pressure is supplied to the working oil pressure chamber H1 is disposed on the exterior of the working oil pressure chamber H1.

The engagement device C1 is provided with engagement members 33, a pressing member 34, and the hydraulic oil pressure chamber H1. A rotor Ro of the rotating electric machine MG is supported in the tubular protruding section 11 by a support bearing 71. Furthermore, in the tubular protruding section 11, there is formed a hydraulic-oil-supplying oil passage L1 which supplies oil to the hydraulic oil pressure chamber H1.
