    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine test board for establishing connection between simulation of drive systems and vehicles and combustion operation and transition operation peculiar to the vehicles in an engine.SOLUTION: The test board device includes an electric machine 4 for driving and/or applying a load to a test target 1 connected to the electric machine 4 by a connection shaft 2 having an adaptor flange 3. A device including the connection shaft 2 and drive and load machines 4 has a fixed, prescribed inertia moment to establish connection between combustion and transition operation peculiar to an actual vehicle in the engine and simulation of drive systems and vehicles. The mass and inertial moment in the adaptor flange 3 are selected so that the resonance frequency of a system including the test target 1, adaptor flange 3, connection flange 2, and the electric machine 4 for driving and/or applying a load to the test target 1 is located between an idling frequency and a partial load frequency by the test target 1.
