摘要： PURPOSE:To effectively cool a peaking capacitor and improve electrical insulation by electrically connecting the peaking capacitor to an insulating oil vessel disposed adjoining to a negative electrode, the negative electrode, and a positive electrode, respectively to forcedly cool the peaking capacitor in an insulating oil contained in the insulating oil vessel. CONSTITUTION:A switching element 11 is switched on to store the energy possessed by a storage capacitor 2 on a peaking capacitor 1. A grow discharge is generated between positive and negative electrodes 6 and 7 to the energy stored on the peaking capacitor 1, permitting a discharge current to flow. Since the peaking capacitor 1 and a coil 4 for uniformly distributing the energy transfer current are disposed in high dielectric insulating oil 15, satisfactory electrical insulator is kept, and the peaking capacitor 1 is forcedly cooled in an effective manner by circulating the high dielectric insulating oil 15.

摘要： PURPOSE:To prevent the temperature of a peaking coil from being raised for prevention of deterioration of the title capacitor oscillator by electrically connecting the peaking coil to a pair of electrodes, respectively, and isolating the coil from the oscillator and chamber so as to face a cooling fan. CONSTITUTION:With a switching element 11 switched on, energy stored on a storage capacitor 2 is transferred to a peaking capacitor 1. Satisfactory transfer of the energy to the peaking coil 1 produces glow discharge between positive and negative electrodes 6, 7 to permit a laser light to be emitted. The peaking capacitor 1 is cooled by an axial fan 22. The peaking capacitor 1 is isolated from an oscillator chamber 17 and disposed facing the axial fan 22. Hereby, the peaking capacitor is cooled to prevent temperature rise of the oscillator.

摘要： PURPOSE:To prevent quick consumption and deterioration of switches by dividing a storage capacitor into two parts, connecting two switches to the individual storage capacitors, and providing inductors between the two switches and a DC high voltage source. CONSTITUTION:Storate capacitors 3 and 4 are charged sequentially through circuits comprising the following parts: a DC high voltage power source 12 current-concentration preventing inductors 1 and 2 the storage capacitors 3 and 4 and a storage-capacitor charging inductor 5. Thereafter, switches 8 and 9 are turned ON. Then, energy stored in the storage capacitors 3 and 4 is transferred into a peaking capacitor 6. when the sufficient energy is stored in the peaking capacitor 6, glow discharge is generated between an anode 11 and a cathode 10. The energy in the peaking capacitor 6 is supplied to a discharing part. In this way, the amount of energy passing through a plurality of the switches, the peak value of the current, the current rise-up speed and the like are uniformly distributed. Thus quick consumption and deterioration of the switches can be prevented.

Since the lateral width of the positive electrode 6 is less than that of the negative one 7, an electric field is concentrated at the end of the positive electrode 6 to extend a discharge region, allowing a laser output power to be increased.

CONSTITUTION:By driving a motor 23, a centrifugal impeller 22 is rotated in a laser vessel 21, and gas is sent to scroll mechanism 24. The gas sent in the scroll mechanism 24 is adjusted so as to uniformly flow in the direction of a laser optical axis. The adjusted gas is sent between electrodes 25a and 25b, subjected to pluse discharge, and then cooled by a heat exchanger 29. The cooled gas is again sent in the scroll mechanism 24 by the centrifugal impeller 22. The light emitted by pluse discharge pumping of gas is resonated between a total reflection mirror 26 and an output mirror 27, and laser light 27 is outputted from the output mirror 27.

摘要： PURPOSE:To prevent any deformation caused by a temperature difference by a method wherein a fluid passage formed within a member deformed by an external heat or an inner heat is provided with a vibration generating member vibrating fluid in a direction of flow passage and its driving source. CONSTITUTION:Within a bed 3 of a lathe 10 is formed an annular flow passage 4. The bed 3 acting as a member deformable by heat absorbs the heat transmitted from a head stock 1 mounted on the upper part. In turn, fluid 5 is sealingly enclosed within the flow passage 4. A piston rod 6a extends from the driving source out of the bed 3. Its extremity end is provided with a piston 6 acting as a vibration generating member. The piston 6 is repeatedly slid within the flow passage 4 by the driving source rightward or leftward. Along with this operation, flow of fluid 5 in a clockwise direction or a counterclockwise direction is repetitively generated within the annular flow passage 4, so that the temperature distribution in the bed 3 is made uniform and a machining accuracy of the lathe 10 is improved.

摘要： PURPOSE:To obtain the titled device wherein the number of an aeration nozzle is reduced and excess feed of gas can be prevented by connecting flexible tubes to the injection nozzles of aeration pipes. CONSTITUTION:Flexible tubes 11 are connected to the injection nozzles of aeration pipes 4. Gas 5 is pressurized by blowers 8 and controlled by a flow rate control valve 9 and injected through the flexible tubes 11 via the aeration pipes 4 from main pipelines 10. On the other hand, the liquid 1 to be treated is introduced into an aeration tank 3 through an inflow port 2 and brought into gas- liquid contact with gas injected through the flexible tubes 11. Then after the liquid is retained in the aeration tank 3 for a prescribed time, it is discharged through a drawing-out port 7. In this case, the flexible tubes 11 are vibrated by the change of momentum in accordance with the injection of gas, and foams are diffused in the lateral direction. Therefore many aeration nozzles need not be provided and excess feeding of gas can be prevented. Further a flexible tube made of vinyl resin or rubber can be used as the flexible tubes 11.

摘要： PURPOSE:To apply coating with a target film thickness to a metal band constantly by measuring an accurate paint film thickness without any time lag. CONSTITUTION:A film-shaped paint liquid 4 is supplied onto the surface of a metal band 1 which is wound round a back-up roll 2 from a nozzle 3 for painting to form a paint film 5 and a wet film thickness is measured accurately by a film thickness measuring instrument 6 which is provided at the downstream side of the roll 2. Therefore, the film thickness measuring instrument 6 is provided with a laser external diameter measuring instrument with a laser radiation part 8a and a laser light reception part 8b and an eddy current type position detector 7 for detecting the position of the ground metal band. Since a part which corresponds to a paint film thickness which is formed on the metal band 1 is shielded, laser beam which is radiated from the laser radiation part 8a cannot reach the light reception part 8b. The reduction in the quantity of light is proportional to the paint film thickness as far as the position on the ground metal band surface does not change, thus determining the paint film thickness according to the quantity of light which reaches the light reception part 8b.

The fused salt in the salt bath is saved in this way.
