    • PURPOSE: A bistable liquid crystal display device and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to reduce dependency on a contrast and increase memory time. CONSTITUTION: A lower conductive electrode(200) and a dielectric layer(300) are successively deposited on a first glass substrate(100). A light transmitting unit and a light blocking unit are formed on a pattern electrode(400) by etching a pattern electrode film deposited on the dielectric layer. A first alignment film(500) is deposited on the light transmitting unit and the light blocking unit and is rubbed in a variable first direction. Liquid crystal molecules and chiral dopant are mixed in a liquid crystal layer(600). The mixed materials are deposited on the first alignment film. A second alignment film(700) is deposited on the liquid crystal layer and is rubbed in a variable second direction.

    • PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display device and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to control movement of liquid crystal molecules in each area of a pattern electrode according to the strength of an applied horizontal electric field, thereby controlling a gray scale of a memory mode in each area. CONSTITUTION: A liquid crystal display device includes a first glass boar(100), a lower electrode(200), a dielectric layer(300), and a pattern electrode(400). The lower electrode and the dielectric layer are successively deposited on the first glass board. A light emitting unit and a light shielding unit are formed by etching a pattern electrode film deposited on the dielectric layer in the pattern electrode. Each area of the pattern electrode has a different width.

    • The present invention relates to a method for the early detection of drug-induced nephrotoxicity by using a novel index material useful for detecting drug-induced nephrotoxicity in the early stages. The method for the early detection of drug-induced nephrotoxicity uses 3-indoxyl sulfate, which is a novel biomarker for the early detection of nephrotoxicity and has excellent sensitivity and specificity to drug-induced nephrotoxicity in urine, serum, and renal tissues of a target object; and trigonelline as a marker, to effectively detect the symptoms in the kidney of the target object in the early stages by a simple method, thereby being widely used in various fields such as the diagnosis of acute renal failure due to drugs which can often arise during clinical treatment and a clinical test which is necessary for new drug development.

    • PURPOSE: A composition containing an anti-diabetic peptide-PEG-albumin conjugate is provided to reduce renal clearance rate and to improve blood glucose reduction. CONSTITUTION: An anti-diabetic peptide-PEG-albumin conjugate is prepared using polyethylene glycol(PEG) as a leakage compound. PEG is modified to succinimidyl succinate, succinimidyl propionate, succinimidyl butanoate, N-hydroxy succinimide, or benzotriazole carbonate at one end and is modified to maleimide or OPSS at the other end. The anti-diabetic peptide is synthetic type or gene recombination type. The anti-diabetic peptide is GLP-1, exendin-4, insulin or agonist, derivative, fragment, variant, or mixture thereof. A composition for reducing blood glucose contains the diabetic peptide-PEG-albumin conjugate as an active ingredient.
