    • The present invention comprises a load balancing server provided with a function for executing a DB query by proxy in a heterogeneous computer system having an AP server computer and a DB server computer. The load balancing server receives a DB query from an AP server, and determines whether the DB query is to be executed by proxy or transferred to the DB server computer and executed by a DB server, based on an element related to the extent of computer resource consumption resulting from the execution of the DB query.
