    • The object of the present invention is to offer an electric type swash plate compressor which is compact and reduced in weight and lightened, and which can efficiently cool down a motor chamber and a crank chamber. The compressor has an electric motor and a swash plate, which are respectively accommodated in the motor chamber and the crank chamber. In the compressor a communication route, which communicates a part except the discharge chamber communicating with an external refrigerant circuit in an inner refrigerant circuit within an outer casing with the motor chamber, is formed. The communication route is formed so as to pass through the crank chamber, and the refrigerant in lower temperature and lower pressure than discharge refrigerant is supplied into the motor chamber and the crank chamber. Accordingly, the improvement of cooling efficiency and the reduction of pressure resisting strength of the casing can be performed.

    • A multistage piston compressor includes a case and a suction chamber and a discharge chamber provided in the case. A rotary shaft is supported in the case. A valve plate provided in the case includes suction ports and discharge ports. A plurality of bores are provided at predetermined intervals about the axis of the shaft. Pistons are housed in the bores and compress refrigerant by reciprocating in accordance with the rotation of the shaft. An intermediate chamber connects a discharge port with a suction port. The refrigerant is compressed in stages by passing through a plurality of bores via the intermediate chamber. Compression chambers are defined between the pistons and the valve plate. A communication passage is provided for setting the pressures acting on the rear faces of the pistons to an intermediate pressure between the suction pressure and the discharge pressure.

    • A scroll-type fluid machine includes a mechanism for driving a movable scroll relative to a fixed scroll. The mechanism includes a drive shaft rotatable on a first axis, an eccentric pin and a bearing. The eccentric pin revolves around the first axis with the rotation of the drive shaft and has an outer peripheral surface centered on a second axis that is parallel to and eccentric to the first axis. The bearing is mounted to the movable scroll and has an inner peripheral surface centered on a third axis that is parallel to and eccentric to the first and second axes. The inner peripheral surface is in contact with the outer peripheral surface of the eccentric pin. Pressing force is applied to the bearing from the eccentric pin due to the arrangement of the first, second and third axes so as to press the movable scroll to the fixed scroll.
