    • The invention pertains to a polymer composition comprising: - at least one polycondensation polymer having a heat deflection temperature (HDT) of above 80°C under a load of 1.82 MPa when measured according to ASTM D648 [polymer (P)]; at least one perfluoropolyether block copolymer [polymer (F)] comprising: A) one or more (per)fluoropolyoxyalkylene segment (chain R f ), that is to say a segment comprising recurring units having at least one catenary ether bond and at least one fluorocarbon moiety, and B) one or more polyalkylene segment (chain R a ) comprising recurring units of formula: -(CR 1 R 2 -CR 3 R 4 )- wherein R 1 , R 2 , R 3 , R 4 , equal to or different from each other, are selected from the group consisting of H, halogens (preferably F, Cl); C 1 -C 6 (hydro)carbon groups, optionally containing fluorine or other heteroatoms, preferably perfluoroalkyl or (per)fluorooxyalkyl, to a process for its manufacture and to its use for manufacturing shaped articles, in particular by extrusion moulding or injection moulding techniques.

    • The invention relates to a process for the manufacture of a fiber or foil comprising at least one optionally functionalized polymer with a high Tg selected from the group consisting of poly(aryl ether sulfone) (PAES), poly(aryl ether ketone) (PAEK) and aromatic polyimide, comprising the steps of (aa) providing a solution comprising at least 45 wt. %, based upon the weight of the solution, of the polymer, and at least 20 wt. %, based upon the weight of the solution, of at least one halogen-free organic solvent (S1) for the polymer; (bb) pushing the solution through a nozzle; and (cc) introducing the solution into a coagulation bath comprising (cc1) at least one liquid (L1) in which the polymer is insoluble, and optionally (cc2) at least one organic solvent (S2) for the polymer, identical to or different from the organic solvent (S1), to form a fiber or foil. The invention moreover relates to a fiber or foil obtained by this process as well as to fibers or foils with specific porosity features and/or mechanical properties.
