    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce any number of substrates in order to prevent degree of light transmission from being degraded by a multilayer type. SOLUTION: A transparent conductive film material is applied to both surfaces of a substrate by a dipping method and dried. Gelatinous titanium oxide containing titanium oxide and a solvent as essential constituents is applied to both surfaces of it and dried. In addition, a sensitizing dye solution containing a sensitizing dye and a solvent as essential constituents is applied to both surfaces of it and dried to support the sensitizing dye to a titanium oxide porous film on both surfaces of the substrate. The dipping method is desirable for this manufacturing method of the double-sided photoactive electrode of this dye-sensitized solar cell because it facilitates the manufacturing method and double-side application to the substrate can be executed in one process. The plurality of first patterns is formed by repetitive transport of the medium by a first intermittent transport. The plurality of second patterns is formed by repetitive transport of the medium by a second intermittent transport. The acceleration of the first intermittent transport is more gradual than the acceleration of the second intermittent transport.
