摘要： The invention relates to a process for the preparation and use of antidote-carrying maize plant parts which are useful for lowering the cultivated plant-damaging effect of thiolcarbamates and chloroacetanilides, which comprises treating native or artificially genmanipulated macroorganisms living in the soil or on the soil surface by the thiolcarbamate and chloroacetanilides compounds and using the living organisms thus made antidote-carrying for the treatment of field soils in a fresh state or after preservation by lyophilization or by application onto a carrier in their original state or after working up them by crushing, pulverisation, extraction or drying, before or simultaneously with or after the treatment with the herbicides, in any time until the germination of the cultivated plant, whereby the selectivity of thiolcarbamates of the formula (I) and chloroacetanilides against cultivated plants, preferably against the maize is increased.

摘要： The invention relates to a novel process for preparing chloroacetanilides of the formula ##STR1## wherein: R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 represent independently from each other a hydrogen atom or a C.sub.1-8 alkyl or C.sub.1-8 alkoxy group; andR.sub.3 stands for a straight chained or branched C.sub.1-8 alkoxy group.Said process is characterized by chloroacetylating a 2,6-dialkylaniline of the formula ##STR2## wherein R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 are as defined above, at a temperature of 10.degree. to 120.degree. C., optionally in a solvent medium in the presence of an acid binding agent, then reacting a thus-obtained intermediate with chloromethyl chloroformiate or, alternatively, reacting a compound of the formula (II) first with chloromethyl chloroformiate and subjecting then to chloroacetylation, thereafter reacting a thus-obtained intermediate with an alcohol of the formulaR.sub.3 --OH (III),wherein R.sub.3 is as defined above, optionally in a solvent medium in the presence of an acid binding agent, and recovering a product of the formula (I) in a known manner.The process of the invention enables the more simple and economic preparation of the compounds of formula (I) of improved purity.

摘要： The invention relates to compositions useful for prolonging the action and increasing the selectivity of herbicide compositions containing .alpha.-chloroacetamide derivatives as active ingredient as well as to highly selective herbicide compositions containing .alpha.-chloroacetamide derivatives as active ingredients and optionally an antidote wherein an animal derivative of the general formula (III) is used for achieving the prolonged action and increased selectivity. 摘要： The invention relates to a herbicide composition as well as to the preparation of carboxylic-acid-amido-thiol-carbamate derivatives forming the active agent of the composition. Pocket, folding, telescopic, and like umbrellas. - Comprises a pocket umbrella having a telescopic stick and foldable ribs, adapted to be opened by the action of extending the stick and to be closed by the reverse action. The stick comprises a tube b, slidable in a tube c carrying a crown k to which the ribs are hinged. The ribs comprise two parts e f, hinged at g to a link h, which has shoulders i serving to support the ribs when extended; the links also prevent the covering p from being pinched or damaged at the rib joints. Hinged at o to the rib parts e are stretchers m; these are pivoted at their other ends to a sliding ring n, which when moved along the tube c to the position n closes the umbrella. The ring carries a cross-pin u slidable in a slot t in the tube c, and the pin carries a link v, located inside the tube and having a slot x. Engaging the slot x is a pin y carried by the tube b; on pulling out the tube b, the pin y moves along the slot until it engages the end y thereof, further movement of the tube moving the ring n and opening the umbrella. The tube b is retained in the extended position by a catch d. A knob r having recesses s is provided on the tube b to accommodate the links h when the umbrella is closed. A wrapper is placed over the cover p when closed up.
