摘要： A conveyor having an array of rollers defining a transport plane is used with pallets each having supports forming an upwardly open saddle adapted to hold a coil of metal strip, and a pair of generally parallel and longitudinally extending rails underneath and fixed to the supports. Each rail has a downwardly directed face adapted to ride directly on the rollers and having a generally planar center region and a pair of upwardly angled end regions each forming a small acute angle with the respective center region.

摘要： A burner for a vehicle heater of a particle filter regenerator including a combustion air blower, a combustion chamber with a fuel evaporator, a fuel supply with a fuel metering pump by which the fuel is proportionately fed to the evaporator, a glow-plug to ignite a mixture of combustion air and vaporized fuel and a control device, in which the control device switches the flow-plug on to ignite the mixture, starts the fuel metering pump after a first period following the switch-on of the glow-plug and substantially simultaneously with the starting of the fuel metering pump or a second period thereafter initiates a gradual increase in the speed of the combustion gas blower from a standstill or low speed rotation.

摘要： An elongated knit web is flattened and guided by an apparatus having a support frame which extends longitudinally in a plane and which has an upstream and a downstream end. A pivot supports this frame for pivoting about a pivot axis transverse to the plane at the upstream end. A pair of transversely extending and longitudinally spaced spreader rollers are provided on the frame adjacent the upstream end and each has a pair of screwthread formations of opposite hand, these spreader rollers being driven to spread out the web transversely. A pair of transversely extending and longitudinally spaced guide rollers are provided on the frame between the spreader rollers and the downstream end, these guide rollers being freely rotating and having surfaces which are made to adhere to the web to prevent its edges from curling up. A control system pivots the frame about its pivot axis to position the edges of the exiting web.
