    • A wire lead guide arrangement provided on a terminal housing of a communication connector. The terminal housing includes a base wall, and two rows of terminal posts disposed at opposite sides of the base wall. The terminal posts are configured to receive outside wire leads for establishing connections between the leads and connector terminals associated with the terminal posts. A wire guide structure in the form of a wall or bar extends between the two rows of terminal posts. The guide structure is configured to separate and prevent interaction between a first set of leads terminating at one row of the terminal posts, and a second set of leads terminating at the other row of terminal posts. The arrangement avoids variations in lead placement that might tend to degrade rated connector performance, particularly with respect to near end crosstalk (NEXT).

    • A back-end variation control cap configured for use with a jack module including a plurality of insulation displacement connectors, the cap being configured for routing a plurality of twisted conductor pairs. The cap includes an upper portion, a bottom portion, a plurality of twisted pair channels extending between the upper portion and the bottom portion, and a pair of opposed end walls, each of the end walls including a plurality of wire constraints disposed thereon. Each wire constraint has opposed surfaces configured to retain one of the conductors and each twisted conductor pair extends through one of the twisted pair channels and the conductors of the twisted conductor pairs are disposed in the plurality of wire constraints such that each conductor is aligned with one of the insulation displacement connectors when the bottom portion is disposed adjacent the jack module.

    • The cable enclosure assembly of the present invention includes a cable enclosure base, a faceplate mount, a removable full-width bezel and a cover. The cable enclosure base attaches to a wall at a location where an optical fiber cable protrudes through the wall. The cable fiber passes through a cable enclosure base cutout formed in the cable enclosure base. Next, a faceplate is attached to the faceplate mount. The faceplate mount is then attached to the cable enclosure base via a pivot-and-mount configuration. The removable full-width bezel can be connected with the cable enclosure base at two positions, thereby enabling the positioning of the bezel within the cable enclosure base to be adjusted. Lastly, the cover is removably secured to the cable enclosure base.
