    • A rotation direction switching device for switching the rotation direction of a drive shaft includes a pulley unit for switching the rotation direction of the drive shaft. The pulley unit has a forward rotation drive belt and a reverse rotation drive belt. The forward rotation drive belt extends between the forward rotation drive pulley and a forward rotation driven pulley. The reverse rotation drive belt extends between a reverse rotation drive pulley and a reverse rotation driven pulley. When the drive shaft is forwardly rotated, the forward rotation belt is placed in a tensioned state, and the reverse rotation belt is switched to a relaxed state. When the drive shaft is reversely rotated, the reverse rotation belt is placed in a tensioned state, and the forward rotation belt is switched to a relaxed state.

A connecting structure connects the second cover portion to the first cover portion to cover the engine, the oil filler, the fuel cock and the spark plug and allows disconnection of the second cover portion from the first cover portion to expose and provide access to the engine, the oil filler, the fuel cock and the spark plug.

    • A continuously shifting-type steering system includes a pair of left and right hydrostatic continuously variable transmissions each of which is comprised of a hydraulic pump and a hydraulic motor, and a pair of left and right planetary gear mechanisms each having a first sun gear, a second sun gear, a two-step planetary gear and a carrier. A first driving gear connected to an engine, is operably connected commonly to the left and right first sun gears. Left and right second driving gears secured to motor shafts of the left and right hydraulic motors, are operably connected to the left and right carriers, respectively. Left and right output shafts are operably connected to the left and right second sun gears, respectively. Thus, it is possible to provide an increase in the shifting range of the continuously shifting-type steering system, and an enhancement in low-output performance.

    • A motorized vehicle has a vehicle body, at least a pair of wheels mounted on the vehicle body for undergoing rotation to cause the motorized vehicle to undergo travelling, and a pair of electric motors each mounted on the vehicle body to selectively undergo forward and reverse rotation to rotationally drive a respective one of the wheels.
