      SOLUTION: A rotary kiln 21 having a form of a short cylinder with a horizontal axis of rotation and tapering in a manner that its raw material inlet is made narrow is used. The raw material is fired at a kiln inside temperature of at least 1,250°C and at a kiln rotation speed as high as about 10 to 30 rpm. A vertical cooling tower 20 which blows cooling air into the clinker which forms a vertical packing layer capable of being downwardly moved as the clinker introduced from the top accumulates and has an exhaustion cylinder 24 at its top is used. The clinker discharged from the rotary kiln 21 is introduced into an air exhaustion cylinder 24, and the waste cooling gas and the exhaust gas from the kiln 21 are sent to a calciner 23.

An image displaying function is provided on a transparent plane. A user gains an operability compatible with human instinct, ignoring a difference between paper and electronic medium.
