摘要： 354,637. Collision guards for road vehicles. CARTER, C., 55, Ravensbourne Road, Bromley, Kent. Nov. 4, 1930, No. 33186. [Class 103 (ii).] A bumper for motor road vehicles is formed in a plurality of independent sections extending across substantially the full width of the vehicle and capable of acting together or independently of each other to absorb shocks, each section being resiliently supported, as by compression springs k, on a bar a so that under impact it can move parallel to itself or obliquely. The bar a is fixed to the dumb-irons of the vehicles by stays b and to the front of the bar are secured two pairs of steel or like bars c held by means of knuckle-jointed collapsable elements d, e which may be replaced by or with which may be incorporated shock-absorbing elements. Each spring k is supported between a pair of inwardly projecting lugs f, g. In a modification the supporting bar a is formed with an offset portion to prevent interference with the luggage grid of the vehicle, the sections c have extended bowed portions, and the inner compression springs are made stronger than the outer springs. The hand-held scanner could be remotely accessed and updated using a wireless connection and thus improving efficiency and minimizing downtime. The integrated system thus allows data collected by the hand-held scanner to be queried, analyzed, and aggregated to assess various inventory related issues including, for example, inventory levels, projected sales figures, and reordering information in real-time.

摘要： The invention relates to analyte monitoring/drug (pharmaceutical agent) delivery device. The invention is suited for monitoring various blood constituents such as glucose. The device has a housing that at least partially encloses a plurality of microneedles disposed on a carrier and an electronics portion. Each microneedle is in fluid communication with a corresponding microchannel. Each microneedle is individually addressable. That is, each microneedle can be extended and retracted individually via an actuator. The electronics portion includes a processor and associated circuitry (e.g., memory, supporting electronics and the like), a motor or the like, a sensor, a power supply (e.g., battery) and optionally an interface. In general, the processor controls the operation of the device and is data communication with the actuator, motor, sensor and interface. The invention provides for autonomous operation, that is, without intervention of the user. The invention can optionally provide for calibration without intervention of the user. The invention can also provide for semi-continuous monitoring for day and night time. The invention can provide for up to four, or more, weeks of operation. The invention can provide for a device that is relative small in size, and therefore unobtrusive. The invention can also provide for device with remote control and interactive electronics. The invention may be also used for the delivery of various pharmaceutical agents including high potency drugs to minimize patient intervention and minimize discomfort.

摘要： The invention relates to analyte monitoring/drug (pharmaceutical agent) delivery device (10). The invention is suited for monitoring various blood constituents such as glucose. 摘要： An exercise device for assisting a user in performing bodyweight exercises as well as being configured for performance of weight training cable exercises includes a frame that is configured to be detachably mounted to a doorframe. The frame includes a first door bar and a second door bar that is spaced from the first door bar and is configured for contacting the doorframe on a first side of the doorframe. The exercise device also includes a pair of door hook assemblies that are coupled to the frame and are configured to seat against a ledge of the doorframe on a second side of the doorframe for securely yet detachably mounting the frame to the doorframe. A pulley carrier assembly is detachably coupled to both the first door bar and the second door bar and includes an elongated carrier that carries a first pulley and a spaced second pulley. A cable passes along the first pulley and the second pulley and the cable has a first end and an opposing second end. The device also includes a counter-weight coupled to a first end of the cable.
