    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charging apparatus, a semi-trailer, a storage space for trailers, a charging system, and a charging method therefor, which can easily charge a battery without requiring complicated battery exchange facilities and work for attaching/detaching a feeding connector for separately supplying power, when charging the battery of a semi-trailer mounted with an HEV system or an EV system.SOLUTION: At least either of a tractor head 10 and a trailer 20 is provided with a battery 18 or a battery unit 30. The charging apparatus 60 of a semi-trailer 2 for holding a trailer 20 by a landing gear when the tractor head 10 is separated is configured such that it includes a power receiving connector which is moved up/down by an air cylinder (elevator apparatus) 66 inside the landing gear, and by moving down the power receiving connector to be connected to the feeding connector 71 disposed on a road surface, power is fed to the battery 18 or the battery unit 30 through the power receiving connector and the feeding connector 71.
