摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the transmission body which is not easily affected by the thunder surge and prevents the destruction of the equipments and devices by building the light emitting and receiving elements into a light shielding case at the inside of a terminal board provided on a printed board and in a space transmission form where both light transmitting and receiving elements are placed opposite to each other with a space secured between them. SOLUTION: Two pairs of light emitting elements 2A and 2B and light receiving elements 3A and 3B are prepared respectively and actually shielded by a terminal board case 6. Every pair of light emitting and receiving elements is built into the case 6 in a space transmission form where both elements are placed opposite to each other with a space secured between them. These light emitting and receiving elements are fixed by the fixing pawls 8. The transmission lines L led from a meter are connected to the terminal screws 7 which are connected to the through-holes 5 of the elements 3A and 2B of the primary side respectively. In such a constitution, the sufficient space and creepage distances are secured between these light emitting and receiving elements.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To confirm the reset of a cutoff valve in a shout time by measuring the flow value based on the number of times and cycle of the sensor drive in response to the size of the variation of the flow values detected after the gas flow is stabilized, and measuring the presence of absence of a gas leak based on the average value of this flow value and the flow value when the variation is detected. SOLUTION: When a cutoff valve 9 is reset, a flow sensor 6 is driven by a flow sensor drive circuit 14 at interval of 1sec to stabilize the flow rate, then the flow rate is measured at the interval of about 0.5sec shorter than the drive interval (about 6sec) at the time of normal measurement. A variation judging circuit 15 obtains the variation of the flow rates, calculates 16 the number of times of measurement, the number of times of vibration, and cycle in response to the size of the variation based on the table set in advance, drives the sensor 6 at the interval of 0.5sec tens times, and measures the flow rate. A flow rate judging circuit 17 judges that a gas leak occurs and closed the cutoff valve 9 when the average value of this measured value and the measured value when the variation is detected is the reset condition value (e.g., 3l/h) or above, and it judges that no gas leak occurs and keeps the cutoff valve 9 opened when the average value is below the reset condition value.

Thus inaccurate measurement is prevented from occurring.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of a gas accident by regularly monitoring the presence of abnormality of a microcomputer by a watch dog timer, automatically closing a solenoid valve to interrupt the supply of gas when an abnormality occurs. SOLUTION: A watch dog timer 7 has a counter for counting the elapsed time, and clears the count value of the counter to zero every receipt of a watch dog timer reset signal outputted at a fixed period from a microcomputer 1. When the counted elapsed time reaches a fixed time longer than the fixed period, a second valve closing signal is outputted. Since the reset signal is outputted every fixed period to clear the content of the counter when the computer 1 is normally operated, the second valve closing signal is never outputted. When the computer 1 becomes abnormal, a first battery 2 is abnormally worn, and neither valve closing signal nor reset signal is outputted. Then, the second valve closing signal is outputted from the timer 7, and a solenoid valve 3 is automatically closed to interrupt the gas supply.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microcompuerized gas meter capable of securely stopping supply of gas even in the case of a microcomputer error. SOLUTION: Means for detecting an error of a microcomputer 1 and means for repeatedly driving a shutoff valve 11 at intervals when the error is detected are provided. The former means comprises; a charging circuit comprising a charge resistor 6 and a capacitor 7, a transistor 5 for discharging the charge in the capacitor 7 according to periodical commands from the microcomputer 1 when the micrccomputer 1 is operating in order, and a binalizing circuit 8 for issuing a signal when the potential of the capacitor rises and reaches a specified value. The latter means comprises; an oscillation circuit starting oscillation upon a significant signal from the binalizing circuit and a transistor 12 for driving the shutoff valve at the time of occurrence of a microcomputer error upon a signal from the oscillation circuit 9. Since the shutoff valve 11 is repeatedly driven at the time of an error of the microcomputer 1, continuous discharge of gas due to manually resetting the shutoff valve 11 is avoided.

In the small range of flow rate type flowmeter, the cover plate 50 is so constituted that the width of the passage gradually become narrower from a side of a partition 22 to a downstream side of the passage 26 to be arc-shaped.

摘要： PURPOSE: To provide a thermal-type flow-rate sensor which consumes low power and can continuously measure flow rate. CONSTITUTION: A constant-current circuit 61 intermittently supplies constant current to sensor resistors 41 and 42 laid out at the upstream/downstream sides of air flow via a switch 62 which is turned on/off by a switching signal 63. At this time, the minimum calorifit value needed of the sensor resistors 41 and 42 is secured so that the output of a differential amplifier 53 reaches the minimum level required for detecting flow rate. The duty ratio of the switching signal 63 is set to a sufficient value for securing the minimum calorifit value required. Also, the cycle of the intermittent supply is set to two times or less of the thermal time constant of the sensor resistors 41 and 42. When the flow rate is equal to 0, the resistance of the sensor resistor 41 is equal to that of the sensor resistor 42 and a bridge circuit 50 is balanced and then the output of the differential amplifier 53 is equal to 0 when the flow rate is equal to 0. When the flow rate increases, the temperature of the sensor resistor 42 increases and that of the sensor resistor 41 decreases, thus causing difference between both resistance, unbalancing the bridge circuit 50 due to the difference between both resistance, and increasing the output of the differential amplifier 53.
