    • PURPOSE:To increase the response frequency of the liquid particle producer and improve the efficiency of the liquid particle production of driving pulses by providing liquid diodes between a liquid well and pump chambers. CONSTITUTION:Fluid diodes 17a which have no moving parts at all are formed between an ink well 12 and pump chambers 14. These liquid diodes 17a form nearly heart type barriers 19 within the channels 18 of nearly spade type, thus reducing the back flow of liquid. The formation of these type liquid diodes 17a between the ink well 12 and pump chambers 14 lets the producer exhibit good diode effect, enables its response frequency to improve up to about 10K Hz, completely eliminates the mutual interferences between the nozzles and enables piezoelectric elements 16 to operate even if the voltage of driving pulses is lowered and enhance the efficiency of particle productions.

SOLUTION: A lower magnetic shield layer 12 is formed of a material having a coercive force Hc of the film larger than the magnetic field applied during the recording operation or of a material having a large unisotropic magnetic field Hk. It is also possible to use a material having a large coercive force Hc and a large unisotropic magnetic field Hk. In the case of an MR head where a film having the single axis magnetic unisotropy is arranged on the lower magnetic shield layer with the magnetization easy axis directed to the track width direction, when a coercive force Hc of film is set to 5(Oe) or more, magnetization change of the lower magnetic shield is kept within a minor loop even if it is operated with an excitation coil and the magnetization condition after the recording operation does not become unstable due to the magnetic hysteresis. Popcorn noise appearing in the reproduced output of MR sensor after the recording operation can be controlled.

    • PURPOSE:To easily control a delay time of an equalizing constant to a desired value by using a charge transmission device capable of a changing control on the delay time continuously from the outside as a delay element of a waveform equalizer for correcting a waveform distortion of a regenerative signal. CONSTITUTION:This device is constituted in such a manner that a data area from the inner circumference to the outer circumference in the case of an innermost circumferential track and an outermost circumferential track is logically divided, for instance, into ten, and in which area a magnetic head is positioned is transmitted from a track position signal generating circuit 19 to a equalizer control circuit 17. A control signal is outputted by this control circuit 17 to the waveform equalizer 14 and a clock generating circuit 16 in reference to the equalizing constants tau and C which are most suitable for each data area held in an equalizer constant memory 18. A transfer clock with a frequency corresponding to the control signal from the control circuit 17 is outputted by this circuit 16 to the delay element 22. Consequently, by changing the clock frequency of the delay element 22, the delay time tau is controlled, and the optimum equalizing characteristics is always maintained.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent corrosion of a coil of the thin-film head and to improve the accuracy of a track width by forming the coil of a corrosion resistant conductor and forming the insulating film of the rear surface of a coil of an inorg. material. CONSTITUTION:The thin-film conductor coil 2 is formed of the corrosion resistant conductor. Magnetic fluxes are generated from the track width 3 in the front end part of magnetic cores 1, 1' having a magnetic gap 11 and a gap depth 12 and signals are recorded on a recording medium when signal currents are passed to the coil 2 wound on the magnetic cores 1, 1'. On the other hand, the signals recorded in the above-mentioned stage are reproduced as signals by the coil 2 which detects the change in the magnetic fluxes from the recording medium via the track width 3 in the front end part of the magnetic cores 1, 1'. The coil of the thin-film magnetic head is formed of the corrosion resistant conductor in this case, by which the corrosion of the coil is obviated even if moisture permeation arises. The regulation of the track width to the extremely small width with high accuracy is possible in this way.
