    • PURPOSE:To sharply enhance the isolation characteristic between an input pin and an output pin by a method wherein the input pin and the output pin are equipped with a conductor or a dielectric which is installed on both sides along their extraction direction and a facing conductor which is installed face to face with a stem part is used. CONSTITUTION:An input pin 4 and an output pin 5 are bent to the direction which is opposite to each other near the extraction part; they are extracted to the outside of a can 7 along the plane of a printed-circuit board 14; a stem part 1 and the pins 4, 5 are kept in the non-contact state; a ring-shaped dielectric 21 is fixed to prevent short-circuiting. The input pin 4 and the output pin 5 along the plane of the printedcircuit board 14 function as internal conductors; the dielectric 21 installed along the same plane as this plane, a conductor 12 as a facing conductor and, furthermore, the stem part 1 function as external conductors; a coaxial path is formed at each pair of pins 4, 5; the extraction direction of these pins is opposite to each other; the coupling amount between the pins 4, 5 is reduced sharply. By this method, the isolation characteristic between the input pin and the output pin is enhanced.

    • PURPOSE:To reduce the dead space among respective elements and to reduce the size of a branching filter module by using a surface acoustic wave filter which is much smaller in size than before as a filter and forming a filter for transmission, a branching device, a receiving pre-stage filter, a receiving low- noise amplifier, a receiving post-stage filter, etc., integrally in one module. CONSTITUTION:The branching circuit, receiving low-noise amplifier, a circuit for a transmission input terminal, a circuit for a reception output terminal, etc., which are formed on an alumina substrate 103 is mounted on a pedestal 101 made of an alumina plate, etc. Further, three surface acoustic wave filters 107, 108, and 109 mounted on a package are mounted on the pedestal 101 and respective terminals are fixed to terminals of respective circuit boards. Thus, the whole branching filter including elements from the receiving low-noise amplifier to the receiving post-stage filter is united on one pedestal. Consequently, the filter itself is reduced in size by the use of the surface acoustic wave filters and the dead space resulting from the packaging in the module is reduced enough to ignore.

    • PURPOSE:To reduce the size of a device and to reduce its loss by connecting plural filters including a surface acoustic wave filter in parallel, and making transducers, which are connected in common, weight so that the input impedance is reactive in a frequency band outside and near a passing band. CONSTITUTION:Elements 2 and 3 are surface acoustic filters and transducers 9 and 10, and 11 and 12 are formed on piezoelectric substrates 13 and 14. When the impedance viewed from the common connection point between the transducers 9 and 11 becomes reactive, line lengths l2 and l3 to the common connection point P are set about a quarter as long as the wavelength of a frequency outside the passing band, and then when the transducers 9 and 10 are viewed from the connection point P, they are open to signals of frequencies outside the passing band and electric signals are reflected at the entrances of the transducer and never absorbed as acoustic energy into the substrate even partially. The terminal 5 of the transducers 9 and 11 is the terminal of the common connection side and connected to a common electrode 16. In this constitution, parts which are inserted into each other and function as transducers vary in density distribution (weighting function) in an (x) direction to obtain specific frequency passing characteristics.
