摘要： PURPOSE:To attain flat mounting by fixing a surface acaostic wave element, keeping a dielectric layer surface generating an input matching circuit and an output matching circuit, and that generating an input electrode and an output electrode apart. CONSTITUTION:The package 10 of a TO can type, in which the elastic surface wave element 1 is accommodated, is mounted on a dielectric substrate 20. Input/ output pins 5 and 6 are inserted into through holes 21 and 22 provided on the dielectric substrate 20, and they are electrically connected with the input electrode 23 and the output electrode 24 provided on the back of the small-sized dielectric substrate 20. The input matching circuit 25 and the output matching circuit 26 are simultaneously generated on the surface of the small-sized dielectric substrate 20, and the matching circuits 25 and 26 are electrically connected with the input electrode 23 and the output electrode 24 by the through holes 27 and 28. Thus, mounting is attained on a single plane.

摘要： PURPOSE:To obtain a SAW filter transducer electrode material with lower resistivity than that of aluminum by using a superconduction thin film as a transducer electrode material of the SAW filter. CONSTITUTION:The surface acoustic wave SAW filter consists of a piezoelectric substance 1-1, an interdigital transducer 1-2, a stripe 103, a lead wire 1-4 and terminals 1-5, 1-6. The stripe 103 constitutes an IDT 102 and the type of material is superconduction ceramic thin film. Thus, the electric resistance of the IDT electrode of the SAW filter is made principally zero. Then the insertion loss of the SAW filter is considerably reduced than the case with using aluminum.

摘要： PURPOSE:To obtain a surface acoustic wave resonator with wide band area applicable on an oscillation circuit by attaching a directivity having a reflective function inside on transducers at both ends of a string of plural transducers connected in series or in serial-parallel. CONSTITUTION:The title resonator is constituted by providing the transducer of unidirectivity consisting of an excitation electrode finger 2-1 and excitation electrode fingers 4-1, 3-3, and 5-3 at the both ends of the transducer consisting of an excitation electrode finger 3-1 and excitation electrode fingers 5-1, 2-3, and 4-3. Those transducers of unidirectivity are the ones in which metallic thin film stripe strings, etc., are formed between the excitation electrode fingers, and a surface acoustic wave can be propagated only in one direction by setting an interval between the excitation electrode finger and a reflection string appropriately. By using such a device, it is possible to obtain a characteristic almost equal to the frequency of infinite recursive type resonator, and in case of applying it in the voltage controlled oscillator of an automobile, it is possible to realize miniaturization and light weight and to secure required band width.

The input pin 4 and the output pin 5 along the plane of the printedcircuit board 14 function as internal conductors; the dielectric 21 installed along the same plane as this plane, a conductor 12 as a facing conductor and, furthermore, the stem part 1 function as external conductors; a coaxial path is formed at each pair of pins 4, 5; the extraction direction of these pins is opposite to each other; the coupling amount between the pins 4, 5 is reduced sharply. By this method, the isolation characteristic between the input pin and the output pin is enhanced.

At such a time, the impedance of the resonator is high, and the attenuation quantity increase. In addition, capacity Cp slightly decreases the impedance, whereas, it makes resonant frequencies (fr) approach to anti-resonant frequencies (fa). As this result, the rise characteristics between the bands of the title filter are made sharper.

In this case, a ternary alloy where the dope amount of Cu is 0.1-2.5wt.% and the dope amount of Mg is 0.1-1.4wt.% is preferred depending on the power given to the SAW filter and the required service life in this case and other ternary alloy where the dope amount of Cu is 1.8-2.2wt.% and the dope amount of Mg is 0.5-1.4wt.% is much preferred.
