    • The present invention relates to devices and methods for providing controlled environments for surgical procedures, as well as transplantation and wound healing. In particular, one embodiment of the present invention provides devices and methods to provide an anaerobic environment for incision sites. In other embodiments, the present invention provides devices and methods to maintain anaerobic conditions during the collection, transport, and implantation of organs, tissues, cells, and other transplant material. In further embodiments, the present invention provides devices and methods for the production and maintenance of an anaerobic environment surrounding sites of trauma or tissue injury. In particular, the present invention provides devices and methods which allow the operator to strictly control the environment for surgical procedures, transplantation and wound healing, etc. Thus, the present invention also finds use in specialized settings where hyperoxic conditions are desireable.

    • A host system (2) receives uploaded real time bus progress data (20) for bus systems (13). This is determined by the bus system (13) detecting a beacon short range radiation signal from a bus stop systems (11). Uploads are only made if the bus is not running according to the timetable. The host system (2) downloads bus status data (21) for remaining stops (12) on the route. The host system (2) also downloads advertising content to both the bus stop systems (11) and the bus systems (13). This is intelligently processed to select that which is applicable.

    • A marking device is provided. The marking device (MD) includes an elongated housing that has a tip configured to contact a surface. The MD also includes a pressure sensor disposed within the housing. The pressure sensor is coupled to the tip and is configured to detect when the tip contacts the surface. The MD further includes first and second acceleration sensors disposed within the housing and adjacent the tip of the MD. The first and second acceleration sensors are configured to sense acceleration of the tip in first and second directions. Responsive to the sensing of acceleration, first and second acceleration sensors generate a signal indicative of acceleration in first and second directions. The MD also includes a conversion device configured to receive first and second signals and convert first and second signals into at least one computer readable signal.
