That is to say, the drive circuit 83 drive an actuator 6 on the basis of a signal out of the operational circuit 82. And, a control rule of the operational circuit 82 is set so as to cause a direction of control force to be produced out of the actuator 6 to become a direction offsetting varied torque disturbance, so that rocking vibration itself in an engine is reduced.

    • PURPOSE:To reduce vibration of a vehicle by installing an actuator to a vehicle body, which undergoes vibration due to the external turbulence caused by fluctuating torque from the engine, and controlling the actuator, according to both the vibrational velocity and fluctuating-torque-induced external turbulence, thereby impressing the vibration- subduing force to the vehicle body. CONSTITUTION:Vibrational characteristics of a vehicle body 4 include the natural frequency at which the vehicle body 4 vibrates as a whole in an elastic mode accompanied by the bending deformation. An actuator 6 is installed to the front part, for example, of the said vehicle body 4, while a vibration sensor 9, which detects vibrational acceleration, is attached. A load transducer 7 is installed between a forward engine mount 2 and the vehicle body 4 so that it controls the actuator 6 via a control circuit 10, according to the output signals from both detecting means 7 and 9. The control circuit 10 is constituted in such a manner that it is provided with both a load detecting circuit 81, which produces, based on the load detecting signal, a signal that is proportional to the fluctuating-torque-induced external turbulence and a vibration detecting circuit 10a, which produces a signal that is proportional to the vibrational velocity of the vehicle, thereby controlling the actuator 6 by means of the signal formed by adding the above-mentioned two signals.

CONSTITUTION:Abnormal generation of heat in a bottom bearing 4 is detected by a temperature detector 11, and a dynamotor 2 is stopped by a controller 10. Since abnormal generation of heat in the bearing remarkably changes a bearing charactristic to cause vibration of a rotary member, excessive vibration can be prevented before its occurrence by detection of the temperature while a life of the bearing can be previously known. On the other hand, abnormal contact, wearing, etc. in the bearing 4 is detected by an AE detector 12 as an abnormal acoustic emission AE signal, then the dynamotor 2 is stopped by the controller 10. As the abnormal AE signal in the bearing is detected in many cases prior to heat generation in the bearing, the abnormality of the bearing can be detected by the AE signal earlier than the detection by temperature.

Then a rotor 15 of a magnetic bearing 14 is embedded to an upper part of said minor contour part 24. A permanent magnet or the like is considered as the rotor 15. By such constitution, the necessity for using a bolt or the like for fixing the rotor 15 is eliminated, consequently the flywheel 23 is excellent in strength even if it is rotated at a high speed.

Gears 18 and 17 are so attached that they bite one another, and the other ends are connected one ends of a pair of tendons 9. A sensor 11 attached to the center of the beam 6 detects the vibration quantity, and a controlling force is given to a rotary machine 16 through a filter 12, a controller 13, and a power amplifier 15 to give the force, which acts against the displacement and the speed of the vibration, to the beam 6 by mechanisms 20 and arms 8, thus controlling the vibration.
