    • PURPOSE:To attain a simple and lightweight structure of a dumping device and also to control simultaneously the vibrations of the two axial directions on a horizontal surface, by using the entire additional weight driver of an axial direction as an additional weight of the additional weight driver of the other axial direction. CONSTITUTION:The signal of a vibration detector 72 is supplied to a control circuit 78 for the vibration of the Y axial direction and then converted into the displacement or speed quantity needed for attenuation of the Y axial vibrations of a structure. The driving power is generated to a motor-driven actuator 52 via a power supply 80 in response to the signal obtained from the operation of the circuit 78. The driving power produces the Y axial direction vibrations with a static part of the actuator 52 used as an additional weight. The signal of a vibration detector 70 is supplied to a control circuit 74 for the X axial direction vibrations. Then the driving power is produced to a motor-driven actuator 40 to give vibrations in the X axial direction. In this case, the entire additional weight driver of the X axial direction serves as an additional weight of the Y axial direction.

    • PURPOSE:To reduce vibration of a vehicle by installing an actuator to a vehicle body, which undergoes vibration due to the external turbulence caused by fluctuating torque from the engine, and controlling the actuator, according to both the vibrational velocity and fluctuating-torque-induced external turbulence, thereby impressing the vibration- subduing force to the vehicle body. CONSTITUTION:Vibrational characteristics of a vehicle body 4 include the natural frequency at which the vehicle body 4 vibrates as a whole in an elastic mode accompanied by the bending deformation. An actuator 6 is installed to the front part, for example, of the said vehicle body 4, while a vibration sensor 9, which detects vibrational acceleration, is attached. A load transducer 7 is installed between a forward engine mount 2 and the vehicle body 4 so that it controls the actuator 6 via a control circuit 10, according to the output signals from both detecting means 7 and 9. The control circuit 10 is constituted in such a manner that it is provided with both a load detecting circuit 81, which produces, based on the load detecting signal, a signal that is proportional to the fluctuating-torque-induced external turbulence and a vibration detecting circuit 10a, which produces a signal that is proportional to the vibrational velocity of the vehicle, thereby controlling the actuator 6 by means of the signal formed by adding the above-mentioned two signals.
