    • PURPOSE:To high efficiently separate and remove magnetic particles contained in fluid and to reduce cost of the titled equipment by providing a fine wire of a ferromagnetic material in the space of a magnetic field wherein the intensity of the magnetic field is changed in the direction of radius and exciting the fine wire. CONSTITUTION:In the case of providing filter elements 3 to the inside of a cylindrical exciting coil 1 wherein a gradient of a magnetic field is formed in the direction of radius by conducting DC current, the gradient of the magnetic field is formed along the radially extended fine wires 15 of a ferromagnetic material and when fluid contg. magnetic fine particles is introduced through an introduction pipe 4, magnetic fine particles are trapped on the above-mentioned fine wires 15. In this case, when amplifying the output signals of oscillators 11 by an amplifier 12 and conducting AC current to the above-mentioned fine wires 15, the fine wires 15 are vibrated and the magnetic fine particles trapped on the fine wires 15 are carried to the outer peripheral sides of the filter elements 3 without separating from the fine wires 15 and pushed on the inside surface of the an outer peripheral wall. Therein the magnetic fine particles deposited on the inside surface of the outer peripheral wall are removed and recovered by introducing washing water through the water feed pipes 6 and discharging it through the drainage pipes 7.

    • PURPOSE:To reduce the relative velocity between a rod-seal and the rod for a displacer and to prevent these parts from wearing away by a reciprocating sliding motion, by providing a rod-seal fixing ring which is freely-slidable along the inner circumferential surface of the power piston of the subject engine. CONSTITUTION:In the subject engine, a displacer piston 23 which is freely- slidably housed in a cylinder 13 is connected to a crankshaft 7 via a rod 22 for displacer. Further, with a prescribed phase difference to the piston 23, a power piston 15 is freely-slidably provided in the cylinder 13. And in the portion through which the rod 22 of the power piston 15 penetrates, a ring-shaped rod seal 27 is interposed so as to keep the tightness between the power piston 15 and the rod 22. In this case, it so arranged that the rod seal 27 is retained in a rod-seal fixing ring 36 which is freely-slidable along the inner circumferential surface of the power piston 15, and the clearance between the same ring 36 and the inner circumferential surface of the power piston 15 is sealed by a fixing ring seal 35.

    • PURPOSE:To effectively reduce the vibration of a vehicle body, by predicting the vibration mode of a vehicle body in accordance with the rotational speed of an engine and the weight of the vehicle body, and by controlling an actuator for applying damping force to the vehicle body in accordance with the result. CONSTITUTION:An engine rotational speed detecting circuit 8 is connected to an engine ignition pulse terminal 7, and a control circuit 9 in a control section 18 obtains a waveform having an amplitude and a phase which correspond to the engine rotational speed detected by the circuit 8. This waveform is compensated in accordance with the weight of a vehicle body detected by a weight detecting circuit 13 connected to a strain gage weight detector 12, and is then amplified by a power amplifier circuit 10, and thereafter is delivered to an actuator 6 which is constituted such that electromagnetic force that is generated when a coil 63 is energized, is transmitted to a casing 68 fixed to the vehicle body through a coil support 64. Thus, it is possible to aim at cancelling out torque variations caused by the rotation of the engine 1 with the use of the force from the actuator 6 to reduce the vibration of the vehicle body 4.

    • PURPOSE:To improve a feeling of driving comfortableness and durability in a controller, by driving an actuator with a detecting signal out of a vibration detector, while detecting a driving state, and interconnecting an empty space, where an elastic body exists, to an engine negative pressure part at the time of driving but selecting it to a positive pressure part at the time of stoppage. CONSTITUTION:An engine is discriminated as it is at idling or driving by an engine speed detector while a three-way valve is selected to where it should be, and a negative pressure port 25 is interconnected to a suction pipe at the time of driving and to a positive pressure part at the time of idling, respectively. At driving, an empty space 35 is made to come into suction pressure whereby a pressure differential between these spaces 35 and 36 grow large, pushing up a pressing device 23, and thereby a movable mass body 9 is locked thereto. On the other hand, at idling, the space 35 is interconnected to the positive pressure part, making the pressure differential between these spaces 35 and 36 dwindle away to nothing, whereby the pressing device 23 is pushed up and the body 9 is opened free, thereby making an actuator 6 come into a state of being operated. And, since the body 9 comes to a stationary state at the time of driving, any impact to a casing 18 due to vibrations in the body 9 and disturbance is avoided, thus no noise happens and service life is prolonged.

Since a pressure differential between empty spaces 35 and 36 dwindles away to nothing and it grows larger the other way at the time of idling and driving, the actuator 6 locks a movable mass body 9 and pushes up a pressing device 23, opening it.
