摘要： A proposed blood treatment apparatus includes: a blood treatment unit, a pair of fluid pumps and a pair blood pumps. The blood treatment unit is configured to receive untreated blood and fresh blood treatment fluid, and emit treated blood and used blood treatment fluid. The fluid pumps are configured to pass blood treatment fluid through the blood treatment unit. The blood pumps are configured to extract untreated blood from a blood source, pass extracted blood through the blood treatment unit and deliver treated blood to a target vessel. Additionally, the fluid pumps are configured to control the operation of the blood pumps via the blood treatment fluid. Moreover, a flow control device is configured to control a trans-membrane flow between the blood side and the a fluid side of the blood treatment unit. Hence, for instance ultrafiltration can be adjusted to a desired level in a very straightforward manner.

摘要： The present invention concerns a system and a method for dosing of at least two concentrates into water for on-line preparation of a medical fluid. The system comprises a main line (1) for feeding of water, a first line (2) with a first pump (3) for feeding of a first concentrate into the main line at a first mixing point (4), a second line (5) with a second pump (6) for feeding of a second concentrate into the main line at a second mixing point (7). A main concentration sensor (12) measures the concentration in the main line (1) downstream both the first and the second mixing points. Initially, while not feeding any of the second concentrate, the control of the dosing of the first concentrate is under feedback control from the main concentration sensor (12) to the first pump (3). At a certain point in time a value for a feeding parameter for the first pump (3) is determined and the feedback control from the main concentration sensor (12) is moved, from control of the first pump (3) to control of the second pump (6). Then the value for the feeding parameter is used for control of the first pump (3).

摘要： The apparatus (100) for the preparation of peritoneal dialysis fluid comprises a water preparation module (200) which purifies tap water and supplies the purified water to a thermal control and sterilisation module (300). The thermal control and sterilisation module (300) passes the purified water to a concentrate mixing module (400), which mixes the purified water with concentrated components of the dialysis fluid from a disposable concentrate container (402) to produce the peritoneal dialysis fluid. At least some of the concentrated components of the dialysis fluid are in powdered form. The peritoneal dialysis fluid is passed from the concentrate mixing module (400) back to the thermal control and sterilisation module (300) where it is sterilised in an on-line autoclave, before being passed to a cycler and sterilisable connector module (600) for administration to the patient (50). The apparatus has the advantage that the peritoneal dialysis fluid is prepared on-line at a treatment location, such as a patient's bedroom, to a prescription specific to the patient.
