    • PURPOSE:To distribute a sealed material to the inner surface of a hollow cylinder in such a manner as to obtain an equal inside radius and correct the unbalance of a hollow shaft, by sealing a liquid-state material in the hollow part of the hollow cylinder and making a rotating motion around the central axis of outer sides of the hollow shaft. CONSTITUTION:In the hollow part of a hollow cylinder 5 with an unequal thickness, a liquid-state material 12 having a character of being solidified with the lapse of time is sealed and then end plates 6, 7 are replaced to the former condition to make a rotating motion about the central axis of outer sides. During the rotating motion, the inside of the liquid-state material 12 distributed to the inner surface of the hollow cylinder 5 tends to be balanced by a same centrifugal force, resulting in the production of an actual circle with the central axis of rotating motion as a center. In this way, an uneven thickness of the hollow cylinder 5 can be equalized by the liquid-state material 12, and this causes a same result as that the hollow cylinder is machined in a good accuracy with its thickness constant in any place, and a vibration is not caused in the hollow cylinder even if rotated in such a condition as described.

    • PURPOSE: To readily detect the position, time, frequency, etc. of the abnormality occurrence of a revolving shaft by subjecting the revolution pulses and the acoustic signals from both ends of a revolving shaft to specified processing.
      CONSTITUTION: When the time difference of the acoustic signal waveforms from the acoustic sensors 9, 9' at both end of a revolving shaft is detected with a time difference measuring instrument 14 and is subjected to division by the acoustic propagation speed in the shaft 6 in a divider 15, the acoustic generating position with the center of the shaft 6 as a reference is determined. On the other hand, the circuit pulse signal which a revolution pulse detector 13 generates at each rotation of the shaft 6 and the acoustic signal of the sensor 9 are applied to a histogram processing means 16, where the histogram of the rotating angle-acoustic generating frequency waveforms synchronized to the revolution pulses is made. If this histogram is subjected to delay correction according to the generating position mean value signal from the means 17 by a time delay means 20, it becomes the histogram of the acoustic generating position. Hence, the signal superposing the AC component corresponding to the histogram on the DC component corresponding to the acoustic generating position is generated from an adder, whereby the abnormality of the rotating machaine is readily and accurately detected.

    • PURPOSE:To provide a vertical shaft pump wherein reliability of preceding standby operation is improved by suppressing unbalance due to an inflow of air in a pump of performing gas/liquid two-phase operation to reduce vibration by fluid vibratory exciting force. CONSTITUTION:In a vertical shaft pump in which a pump shaft 12 is arranged in an axial center direction of a lifting pipe to provide a suction bellmouth 4 in the suction side of an impeller 1 and a suction hole 9 in a suction side casing in the bottom part of the impeller, pressure adjusting holes 13 for balancing a pressure with each other in a symmetrical position relating to the pump shaft center, of a pressure generated in a flow path in the impeller 1, are provided in an impeller hub 16, and each hole is connected by a pressure adjusting pipe 17. The pressure adjusting hole 13 is provided in a casing liner 3, and the holes in a position symmetrical with each other are connected by the pressure adjusting pipe 17. Further, the pressure adjusting hole 13 of passing through a pressure surface and a negative pressure surface of an impeller vane is provided.
