    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spacer for securing concrete covering depth of main reinforcement bars of a cage in a cast-in-place pile construction method or the like which completely dispenses with welding to the cage, and which can be easily installed to any position in the cage. SOLUTION: This spacer 10 to be installed on an outer side surface of the cage 1 is composed of a roughly U-shape or arc-shaped protruded part 11 protruded along a main reinforcing bar axis direction toward the outer side perpendicularly to a main reinforcing bar, a lock part 12 comprising a pair of insert pieces 12a integrally provided at an upper part of the protruded part 11 to be inserted from the underside to the inner side of a hoop bar 3 to hold the main reinforcing bar 2, and an engagement part 14 integrally provided with a lower part of the protruded part 11 and having an engagement groove 13 to be engaged with the main reinforcing bar from a lateral direction. The insert piece 12a is inserted inwardly of the hoop bar 3, and the engagement part 14 is caulked, so that the engagement groove 13 is engaged with the main reinforcing bar 2, thereby the spacer 10 can be easily fixed to the position of the main reinforcing bar of the cage 1 without welding at a main reinforcing bar position in the cage.

    • PURPOSE:To enable slime to be easily treated by providing an agitation vane at the end of a discharge tube, a submersible pump at the intermediate section of the tube and further a swivel at the upper part of the tube. CONSTITUTION:A suction port 12 is provided at the end of a discharge tube 1, and agitation vanes 2 are fitted at both sides of the port 12. Also, a submersible pump 5 is installed at the intermediate section of the tube 1, and a swivel 6 is fitted to the upper part of the tube 1 for connection to a rotary kelly-bar 7, a hydraulic tube 8, an electric conduit 9 and a discharge port 10. Then, the vanes 2 as folded are inserted in a vertical hole A having an expanded bottom drilled with a drilling mud construction method. Then, the vanes 2 are expanded and continuously rotated at the expanded bottom. Sedimentary slime is agitated and mixed with drilling mud via the rotation of the vanes 2, pumped up through the suction port 12 and tube 1 via the operation of the pump 5, and discharged to the ground from the discharge port 10. Thereafter, the tube 1 is lifted up, and a reinforcement cage is inserted in the hole A and filled with concrete, thereby forming a pile. According to this construction, slime can be easily treated by rotating the vanes 2 after expansion or contraction to suit the size of the expanded bottom section.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and apparatus for efficiently constructing a soil improving pile with a large bore without carrying out driving-back by a casing pipe.
      SOLUTION: The apparatus for constructing the soil improving pile includes an upper casing pipe 1 with a diameter smaller than the finish diameter of the constructed soil improving pile; a lower casing pipe 2 formed in a bore equal to the finish diameter of the constructed pile and protrusively provided at the tip of the upper casing pipe 1; a pair of preceding parts 3, 3 protrusively provided at the tip of the lower casing pipe 2; and an angle part 4 protrusively provided between the preceding parts 3, 3. The preceding parts 3, 3 are provided hanging by a predetermined length below the lower casing pipe 2 while facing in the diametrical direction of the lower casing pipe 2 at a space equivalent to the finish diameter of the constructed soil improving pile. The angle part 4 is formed of two boring parts 4a, 4a into equilateral angle shape with the lower end projected upward from the side view.
