摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent variation in fuel injection amounts caused by synchronization of discharge pulsation of a fuel injection pump with resonance frequency of a fuel injection device in a multi-cylinder internal combustion engine like a V type. SOLUTION: First and second high pressure pumps 1, 2 are connected to first and second delivery pipes 6, 7 through high pressure piping 4, 5 respectively. A plurality of fuel injection valves 8 corresponding to cylinders of the internal combustion engine are connected to the delivery pipes 6, 7. Two delivery pipes 6, 7 are connected each other with front and rear connection pipes 11, 12, and they form one large volume by forming a loop. The discharge pulsation of the high pressure pumps 1, 2 are not only absorbed by the large volume but also fuel pressure variation inside the delivery pipes 6, 7 is canceled to make small through the connection pipes 11, 12 since discharge timing of the high pressure pumps 1, 2 becomes an opposite phase each other when pump cams 21, 22 are set in an opposite phase each other.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the foreign sound from an intake manifold surge tank by arranging a net in a part of an intake passage cross section in the downstream and vicinity of a throttle valve, and arranging a plurality of current straightening plates extending in the direction parallel to the intake passage axial core in a part of the remaining part. SOLUTION: This intake foreign sound reducing structure comprises a net 1 provided in a part of an intake passage cross section and a plurality of current straightening plates 7 provided in at least a part of the part having no net 1 of the intake passage cross section. The net 1 is provided in the part to which the flow carried through the clearance between the part brought down on the upstream side of a throttle valve 2 in opening and a passage wall 8 is collided, so that the turbulence of the flow can be reduced and the generation of the vibration of the passage wall 8 and generation of the foreign sound can be suppressed. Further by installing the current straightening plate 7, whereby the flow carried through the clearance between the part fallen on the downstream side in opening and the passage wall 8 is prevented from being dispersed in lateral direction when carried to the part of the current straightening plates 7, so that the turbulence of the flow is hardly caused.

SOLUTION: In just the downstream of a throttle valve 3, a guide means of intake flow, for instance, like a cylinder 5 is provided. Here, when the throttle valve 3 is opened, a first formed fast intake flow in the downstream of clearances 7, 8 is allowed to flow through a peripheral part of the cylinder 5, to be isolated from a slow intake flow in the central part, generation of flow turbulence is prevented. Since a plurality of intake flows of different flow speed and pressure, after straightened by the guide means like the cylinder 5, are smoothly merged in the downstream end, flow turbulence is suppressed, generation of air flow noise is prevented. The guide means may be formed in circular arc shape and flat plate shape provided with only a part necessary for separating an intake flow, an escape part avoiding a movable range of the throttle valve 3 may be provided.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flow noise control system that is able to check any noise to be produced at a time when a throttle valve installed in an intake passage or the like of an internal combustion engine is opened. SOLUTION: Two circular low barrier members 9 and 10 are installed in an inner wall surface 6 of an air passage 2 at the downstream side of a throttle valve 3 as a resistant means imparting a resistor to a flow passing through a vertical pair of clearances 7 and 8 to be formed at the valve opening initial stage of this valve 3. Therefore flow velocity and flow rate in the flow passing through these clearances are decreased, whereby the extent of noises to be produced when flows out of the paired clearances 7 and 8 are joined together is reduced. The barrier members 9 and 10 may be plurally installed in parallel, or deformed to some extent as well. In addition, as another resisting means, fins of more than one piece along a central axis of the air passage may be used as well. Moreover, in place of the resisting means, a turbulence generating means such as dimples made up on the inner wall surface 6 and such a wire as extending to the downstream side along the central axis of the air passage may be installed to generate a turbulent flow along the inner wall surface 6.
