When it is determined that load output exceeds predetermined load by the determining means, the laser irradiation means ignites combustible air-fuel mixture and leads combustion gas into the turbine.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser ignition device capable of improving overall thermal efficiency of an engine.
      SOLUTION: First, in a throttle sensor, engine load is calculated (S200). Specifically, a signal of the throttle sensor is output to an engine ECU to make an opening/closing level of the throttle sensor engine load. Then, the engine ECU determines whether or not the opening/closing level of the throttle sensor detected by the throttle sensor is high, or whether or not the engine load is high load (S210). When the engine load is not high load, ignition frequency is not changed to suppress energy necessary for ignition and improve fuel economy. On the other hand, when the engine load is high, first and second lasers are emitted to increase ignition frequency inside a combustion chamber and flaming speed is improved (S220).

The spool 60 cuts off the communication of an ignition timing advance chamber and an ignition timing delay chamber, and an oil pump 70 and a drain 71 in a state of not supplying the electric current to the coil 44. An engine is stopped in a state of filling a hydraulic fluid in the ignition timing advance hydraulic chamber, and the engine can be started in a state of holding the hydraulic fluid in the ignition timing advance hydraulic chamber.
