CONSTITUTION:Four cantilevers 2b are expanded from the center part 2c of the deflection member 2 in a charge meter to four directions and a distortion gauges 4 are stuck to the approximately center of the member 2. Long holes 2a are formed on the tips of the cantilevers 2b, the shafts 6a of a supporting member 6 fixed on the pressure receiving member 5 are engaged with the long holes 2a and the tips of the cantilevers 2b are supported on the member 5 without being completely fixed on the member 5 so as to be relatively moved in the longitudinal direction. Even if the rigidity of the member 5 is different from that of the member 2, the cantilevers 2b are not affected by the rigidity of the member 5 and a difference of load between a load increasing time and its reducing time can be reduced, so that the load can be highly accurately detected.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the heater control unit of a gas sensor for suppressing the damage to a sensor element by water coating. SOLUTION: In the exhaust pipe of an on-vehicle internal combustion engine, a catalyst 23 under the floor and a part of a muffler 24 becomes lower in position than another part to become the lower position parts A1 and A2 of an exhaust passage PA. An O2 sensor 30 is provided in the exhaust passage PA and has the sensor element 30a for detecting the air/fuel ratio of a mixed gas as a detection target being an exhaust gas and a heater 30b for heating the sensor element 30a. The O2 sensor 30 is connected to an ECU 50. An acceleration sensor 38 and an inclination sensor 39 are connected to the ECU 50 other than the O2 sensor 30. The ECU 50 calculates the acceleration of a vehicle on the basis of the detection signal of the acceleration sensor 38 and also calculates the angle of inclination of the vehicle on the basis of the detection signal of the inclination sensor 39.
