摘要： PURPOSE:To provide the titled paint which given a coating film having excellent corrosion resistance and adhesion to metallic materials, consisting mainly of a specified aq. polyurethane resin having a specified corsslink density and optionally an extender pigment. CONSTITUTION:An aq. polyurethane resin (A) having a crosslink density of 0.02-1.00 per 1000 atomic weight (e.g., an anionic or cationic aq. polyurethane obtd. by reacting a polyhydroxy compd. having at least two active hydrogen atoms and an average MW of 50-100,000 or a mixture thereof with a polyamine compd. having at least two active hydrogen atoms and an average MW of 50-100,000 with an org. polyisocyanate and a compd. having a salt-forming group and active hydrogen atoms capable of reacting with NCO groups and emulsifying the resulting polyurethane resin having a salt-forming group in water in the presence of a salt forming agent) is blended with an extender pigment (B) having a pH of not higher than 6 (e.g., CaCO3) in an amount of not more than four times by weight that (on a solid basis) of the component A. If desired, a dispersant, an anti-skinning agent, an anti-foaming agent, etc., are added thereto.

摘要： PURPOSE:To surely prevent the rusting of each part of a car body having a closed cross section by sprinkling microcapsules contg. a rust preventive in the part after second coating and by allowing the rust preventive to flow in the narrow gap in the part by heat for baking after finish coating. CONSTITUTION:The panel of an automobile body is subjected to undercoating, second coating and baking. An adequate amount of microcapsules 34 cont. a rust preventive is sprinkled in each part having a closed cross section joined by welding, etc., the side seal 30 with a spray gun or the like. The microcapsules 34 are broken by heat for baking after finish coating to allow the rust preventive to flow out. Since the viscosity of the rust preventive is lowered by heating, the rust preventive fills the narrow gap 33a in the joint 33. The solvent in the rust preventive evaporates during the heating and the rust preventive hardens in the gap 33a. By this method, the formation of rust in the entire gap 33a can be prevented.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the generation of a blister accompanied by vaporization of internal water caused by the thermal history during baking cure and of a crack in a coating film caused by volume shrinkage, by compounding an aqueous emulsion resin having a specific gel fraction in a specific ratio. SOLUTION: This aqueous emulsion coating material composition comprises 20-50 pts.wt. of an aqueous emulsion resin having a gel faction of 93-97%. As the aqueous emulsion resin can be typically used a styrene-butadiene resin(SBR), and there can be also mentioned an acrylonitrile-butadiene resin (NBR), an acrylic resin and the like. The butadiene content in the SBR is preferably 35-40 wt.%. Into this coating material composition may be incorporated as additives fillers (e.g. calcium carbonate, pulp powder), anti-foaming agents (e.g. a process oil), thickening agents (e.g. a vinylpyrrolidone copolymer) and the like. The baking temperature of this coating material composition is at 70-130 deg.C. This composition can be used as a substitute for a PVC to cope with environmental problems.
